Martin was our tour guide. I brought my three young kids (12,10,7) to Boston to study American History. We had a fabulous time touring Boston with Martin. He kept things brief but informative to keep the kids attention, and then he delved deeper into the history with me as we walked between sites. He made some special detours for us (car spotting for car crazy son and a trip to the Harbor for me). Everybody in Boston knows Martin, as well. People kept saying hello to him and calling him by name - that’s how well he knows this city! If you’re coming to Boston, take the time to tour the city with Martin or Joan. They are accommodating, flexible, engaging, professional - everything you want in a history tour and more. And a very big bonus, they know the best spots for lunch and dinner (and probably breakfast too). We did a virtual tour with Joan and Martin due to Covid and absolutely loved it! Joan was so kind to communicate with prior to our tour and made it so special for my in-laws 45th anniversary virtual tour of Boston!! We all loved it so much! Martin did a wonderful job showing us around the city. One hour tour is perfect for a virtual tour! I was worried about the video quality but it was really great and easy to follow! What an amazing experience! We hired trailblazer tours for their driving tour in Boston and also the Salem/North shore tour. We were blown away by all the knowledge and expertise Martin has. He should us amazing sites and each stop was very enjoyable. We loved the stop in Rockport and he took us to the most amazing restaurant.
