I went to this establishment on April 7 @7:56pm. When I arrived I should of left bt i was hungry there were 3 gentlemen behind the counter none acknowledged my presence. I stood there for about 2/3min then one guy half way asked me what I wanted, I ordered a slice of pepperoni and a haddock plate. Now let's back up I am born and raised in Boston so I know Boston food. I sat down and waited almost 15min later he calls me up for my slice which is edible bt a little well cooked not to big of a deal. I sir down eat my pizza and continue to wait another 15min go by I get up I'm looking the same guy who has been assisting me says oh it will be done in a minute I say ok and sit down. Almost 20min later I'm still waiting no plate so I get in line to tell them at this point I do not want the food. He was on the phone taking a order once he was done I informed him it's been way to long for a fish plate and that I would just like a refund please. Mind you the fish plate still isn't up yet. He says oh it's almost done I said yea bt I'm good I was hungry almost a hour ago I would just like a refund. He then says we'll what am I supposed to do with the food at this time the cook puts the plate down on their side of the counter. I again say I would just like my money back please he says we'll I have to call my manager I said ok. He steps ro thr side calls the manager tells him what happened, manager says tell her no refund so I ask to speak to him, I pleasantly introduce myself explain what happened and how I just want my money back he then says what am I suppose to do with the food, I say sir idk I just want my money back. He then tells me he can't refund the money because then his register would be short, I informed him in fact it would not be short since you swiped my card the register will still balance out the same he still proceeds to tell me he isn't giving me my money back so I hand the phone back to the cashier. I then tell him I'm not leaving without my money and I'm calling the police je tells me to do so. I take a seat and proceed to call the nonemergency number then all of a sudden the cashier calls me up and gives me my full refund minus the charge for the pizza. Not to mention the haddock was frozen!!! I am a bostonian and I was home visiting why would I want frozen fish when in in the eastern seaboarder!!! The owner could of easily resolved this without all the extra and nowhere in there is any signage that says no refunds! Having a business with the name NEW ENGLAND you would think they would pride themselves on just that, the city, the culture and care about the community they serve as well as the people that live around and surround this business which helps them provide for their families. It's hard out here so if people are spending their money be kind and considerate. I would not recommend anyone doing business here and that is unfortunate since they are one of the closest establishments to where...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible customer service. I’ve worked next-door to this pizza shop for the last three years and have ordered food from them a minimum of 2 times per week - even if it’s only an order for a couple slices. Well, tonight I ordered a 3 topping pizza (all veggies - I don’t eat meat) and I picked it up after work and then drove the 20ish minutes to my house to find out that the pizza had somehow been made with bacon instead of onions. (Keep in mind the slip attached to the pizza was correct.) because I live over 20 minutes away I figured I would call back and explain what happened and would get refunded as a result. This in and of itself was a little bit of a pain, but accidents happen and I’ve had a good relationship with this company for years leading up to this point. To my surprise, after speaking with the cashier and then the owner, they refused to issue a refund without me bringing the pizza back to the shop. Now remember, I’ve dealt with this company for years now, even saying hi to the owner every time I pick up food in person, but I absolutely refused to drive an additional 45 minutes (round-trip) after working 10 hours to bring them the pizza that they screwed up. I try to reason with the owner, even explaining to him who I was and what had happened, and he just kept telling me to bring back the pizza. I’m sorry, their food is not worth the level of dissatisfaction that I experienced tonight. I’ve actually never heard of, or experienced a company treat a long-time customer like that over something so petty. It’s sad, because that $20 pizza just caused them years...
Read moreDON'T WASTE YOUR $!!!!!!! This is the 3rd time I've ordered & the 2nd times It's been messed up but this 1 took the cake. We order the same thing every time, the $20 special advertised on the front door. Last time the issue was they over charged me, fine whatever. My kid was hungry so $2 isn't a big deal. But this time they overcharged me, the order was COMPLETELY wrong & the food is cold (the pizza legit tasted like bad leftovers). I called back to get it fixed & yes I'm upset so I tell her look... This is $30 out of my pocket but more importantly this is my sons dinner. She was nice enough, offered to fix the order & send it out, thank u. I get a call saying that bc the owners don't speak English they remade it but said I HAVE TO PAY AGAIN TO GET THE CORRECT ORDER THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Long story short, don't waste ur time or $. I just ordered from Uno Pizzeria (door dash is in the area), MUCH better quality, the food was actually hot & even with the delivery it was...
