Valrico Commons — Local services in Brandon

This is a very busy shopping plaza. There's a Publix and a Ross Dress for Less as well as a pet store, diagnostic office and Social Security. The Social Security Office was so crowded. Make sure you go right in and head to the kiosk to put in your social security number and get a ticket. I waited about an hour and was helped but a nice employee who was joking with me. So that wasn't as bad as I was thinking it would be. But I wasn't feeling comfortable in there. I'm so glad my husband was with me because it is a little scary in there. I need to get a replacement driver's license as well and I'm actually looking forward to that visit now. I know it won't be as scary. The rest of the plaza is nice, though. This is where Publix grocery store is located. This is probably one of my favorite Publix to go to in the tri-bay area. The staff there are outstanding, caring and friendly! Talking about service they surpass the meaning of the word. They go way out of their way to serve and accommodate you there. I have tasked them over the years with several things and they always took it as an important task and either solved the problem immediately or got back with me. I personally have served as a GM for several Fortune 500 companies and whoever trained the staff there ought to be PROUD. I give you guys my SIX STAR SALUTE for over and beyond the call of duty. Good Publix, Quest lab is in the same plaza for when doctor needs blood drawn, etc...but I do miss the social security office being there! Restaurants close... although the Hardee's in Seffner should own & run the one in Valrico...100% better breakfast!
