My family and I frequent this Twistee Treat often, as it is close to our home and we have always had an awesome experience whenever we need to swing by for sweet treats. Recently, we’ve really gotten frustrated with this location as they’ve messed our order up 3 different times in the last few visits we’ve made. The first time, we were pressed for time and were unable to go back for them to fix it, so my sister just ate the ice cream as-is, and we just chocked it up to an honest error. No biggie. The two other occasions, (one being tonight), we made it out onto the road and headed home before we realized they put the wrong toppings on one of our ice creams. Both times, we turned around and went back to get it corrected. While I appreciate that they “make it right” by remaking the ice cream, it’s still frustrating that we’ve got to waste more time turning back around, and by the time we get home our other ice creams are melted. The most disappointing part isn’t even the errors and having to go back, its that when you ask for EXTRA toppings (that they charge you .99cent per extra topping for btw) they do not give you EXTRA. If we’re paying $.99cent on a $3 ice cream, we expect to have sufficient toppings! I’m not sure if there’s been a change in management recently but this location has really been missing the mark, and they seem to be run by only teenagers who care more about talking amongst each other than making the correct orders. I’ve been a loyal patron and a rewards member for the last 3 years and I’m sad to say that they will no longer be getting my business. I’ll be going to Coldstone where yeah the price may be a little bit more but they never stiff us on toppings and always get it right the first time. I guess you get what...

I have to say, you can kind of tell the young staff that works inside the old cone in Valrico, FL are not really thrilled to be there. Or, maybe it's just been a bad day(s) the last 5 or 6 times I've went to the Twistee Treat there off state rd 60 in Valrico, Now, that said, To The Owners, My four start review is a combined score including things we can't always control. SO, I say this to you, take away the mean looks, add a smile or two and boy does this place turn into a very large 10 star ice cream shop stop!! My Recomndation is for EVERYONE TO GO AHEAD, Visit the OLD Cone here IN VALRICO, FL. Get your Split On... The Twistee Is the Deal. This really is "One MEAN BANANA Split".. You may indeed, get yourself a raised eyebrow or a toss of the hair or if your really Lucky, The Stank EYE for ordering one but heck with it. In fact, get the whole family one!!
