I have been coming to Studio 125 for my cut & color every 6 or 7 weeks since we moved to Georgia in early 2021. I’ve always enjoyed this salon and my hair care experience. Over this time, they had two separate $10 increases, and I was able to absorb that.
However, I was truly shocked on November 30th AFTER my services; when it was time to pay for my cut & color & style, my stylist told me the cost was $140!! A $30 increase at once!! A 27% increase!! No warning!!
The salon sent me an appointment reminder via email. I confirmed by email. But no one at the salon thought to let me know, BEFORE I SAT IN THE CHAIR, that my services were going to cost me $30 more than what I had paid 7 weeks ago; what I had been paying for at least a year.
That was quite an ambush! A 27% increase!!
The honorable thing to do would have been to call or email me to let me know of this big increase; or at least tell me when I walked in or before she started to work on me.
I’m 75 and on a fixed income. 27% is a big cost increase for a non-essential service.
I emailed the salon that evening with my concerns, but I have never heard back from them.
I’ll be looking for another salon for my January cut & color!
Meanwhile, I hope Studio 124 will reconsider how and when they inform their clients of an increase as large as this! The way they handled this borders...

I want to explain to you what went down the day I cancelled you. One of my kids got sick at school and I had to leave for the day. The receptionists that called you explained that I would call you back to reschedule. You called back before I had the chance to. They made you an appointment for this Monday with me, but then you called back the Saturday before that appointment and wanted in that day and was told of course you can. You specifically asked if Jackie was gonna be in the Salon that day and was told yes, you then said never mind then i'm not coming in then. Jackie is the owner and is here everyday the Salon is open taking care of her clients with their needs and wants. Jackie had no problem with you coming into the Salon. Your the one that didn't want to come into salon with her being here. I felt i needed to say something because I was the one that had to cancel you that day and i'm so sorry for the inconvenience. Read moreOMG, THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! After weeks of looking thru salons, this one kept drawing me in. It was so easy to get an appt made. This is of course my first visit and I had my 5 yr old daughter an appt too. Studio 124 DID NOT disappoint! They welcomed us right in like we'd been coming there 20 yrs and knew each others granny's. Forgive me for forgetting a name but the lady that did my daughter's hair was just as amazing as Ms. Jackie, the owner! That's who done mine. Let me tell you I didnt walk in there with your average hair! LONG AND THICK to a pixie. She took her time, did everything in her power to keep me smiling. Even at the end when she could see a little hesitation in me she called others over and thinned a little more and my hair was on point! She nor anyone at her facility will let you leave disappointed! They have definitely gained another dedicated customer and her family. My moms next!! You definitely will not be disappointed, go there like today!!!
