Save A Lot — Local services in Bremen Township

IDK what the previous person is smoking... I went to Save a Lot for the first time this last week... They have 2 meat packages that are to die for!!! I paid $1.78 FOR GROUND BEEF I'm sorry but at Jewel it goes ON SALE FOR $2.99 NOT $1.78!!!!!!!!!!

I love the fact that their bagged cereals are BIGGER than Walmart's and HALF the cost!!!! That is AWESOME!!!!! We spent a whole $44.00 and got breakfast, lunch AND dinner for A WEEK AND A HALF for 5 people!!!

For the same items at Walmart (getting NOTHING BUT GV brand) I would have spent about $125 and at Save A Lot I managed to get a Tony's Brand Pizza, Mott's Medley's Fruit Snacks, Jarrito's Soda that were NOT generic brands AND that were REALLY affordable!!!! The pizza was $1 and made lunch for my 3 boys, fruit snacks were $1.99 ($3.99 at Jewel btw) and made snack complete all week long for the boys (while sneaking in a little veggies to it), and the Jarrito's we NORMALLY have to wait for a sale (Walmart $1.69, Jewel $1.89, Tony's $1.99) and HERE it was a whole whopping $1!!!!!!!!! So me and my Husband enjoyed a very nice treat!!!

So anyone considering it... go when you don't NEED anything and price compare to what you normally spend on the very...

Horrible service I was over charged and i was missing some for my groceries. Lost about $16 in understand they have signs that they are not responsible but I am sure this is not the first time it happens. I went back less than 10 minutes later the girl didn’t bother to ask if they put the stuff back. And when I went to repurchased the item it look like something was put back . Than I went back home and noticed I was missing more items I called and no one knows anything and the guy tells me there is a sign that we are not responsible for things left behind. It’s not so much the money lost but it’s the fact that I was over changed and than some of my groceries went missing and I am sure they restocked it. Overall, this store mostly carries off brand products. There are a few name brand products but I don't think they are priced I need differently than at any other store. I was not impressed with the quality of their meat or produce. One thing that I will say was a great positive was that every employee greeted me as I came into the store and every employee greeted me as I walked down the aisles. A couple of my items came up a higher price at the checkout so watch the prices as they scan them. The store was clean, but I likely would not...
