Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Bremen Township

I have tried unsuccessfully to get better service or even acceptable service at the Popeye’s location in Midlothian, Illinois. I also have a very serious complaint regarding the Popeye’s in Crestwood, Illinois that I will be forwarding to the Internal Revenue Service for an investigation.

On multiple occasions I or my family members have been treated rudely at the Midlothian location with the most recent incident happening this afternoon. My husband and son stopped after school for your famous fries (which are delicious) and my husband was asked to pull ahead and wait in front of the door. He waited for French fries for nine minutes and then a worker came out, handed him the fries and said “Thank you”. I assume that because my husband took his fries and didn’t respond, she kept repeating “thank you” in a forceful tone. I have entered the restaurant to order food and have been greeted with the words “go ‘head”. These are just two customer service fails that my husband and I have experienced and me complaining through your website has accomplished nothing. The staff is often rude and I have even been given macaroni that was cold with some type of powder in it. It appeared as though it wasn’t properly mixed and it was served to us that way. I am done with Popeye’s at this location (I love the location near my work at 500 w. Madison in Chicago) unless the associates can be trained in customer service. I feel embarrassed for them because clearly there is no customer training or training...

IT WAS NASTY, THE OLDER WHITE LADY WHO COULD BE THE MANAGER, CLIMBS UP ON THE COUNTER WITH HER SHOE'S ON, TO CLEAN OFF THE SHELVES, WHICH STILL HAD FOOD ON THE COUNTER AND CONTAINERS ON IT!!!! THEN AFTER WE ORDERED OUR FOOD, WHICH WAS, A NUMBER 4, WHICH IS 4 PIECE OF CHICKEN, A NUMBER 7, WHICH IS A 5 PIECE TENDERS AND AN ORDER OF BUTTERFLY SHRIMP. IT TOOK ABOUT 20 MINS TO GET OUR FOOD AND MY SONS 4 PIECES WERE COLD AS HELL AND WHEN MY MOM WENT UP TO SAY SOMETHING THEY DIDN'T CARE SO INSTEAD OF HIM GETTING 1 BREAST, 1 THIGH, 1 WING AND 1 DRUMSTICKS NO HE GOT 3 WINGS AND 1 THIGH. I HAVE NEVER EVER HAD A COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS PLACE BEFORE, BUT AFTER 20 MINS OF WAITING FOR ALL OUR FOODTHAT EVERYTHING WOULD BE HOT AS HELL BUT REALLY NOTHING WAS HOT!!!! We ordered 2 sandwiches and a spicy tender meal. Pull to the window the guy yells $8.42, hand him the card then tell him that sounds a little low, and repeated our order. He then proceeded to berate my wife telling her he has a line of cars and we should have told him... Wow the nerve, it was him who wasn't listening in the first place. He is usually a pretty nice guy, everyone's entitled to a bad day but you don't take it out on people spending their money at your job. Got overcharged, and got regular tenders with no sauce. Didn't bother staying to argue, both the Crestwood and Midlothian restaurants treat paying customers like garbage.
