BerryField Cafe — Restaurant in Bremen Township

I WILL NOT RETURN to this place ever again . Even if I’m starving and their the only place open , I rather cook with a broken foot than to return here . The moment we sat down our waiter seems to have a issue . I’m a big believer in treating people how you want to be treated and this lady gave us eye rolls, side eyes . Never came to check on us . Made me feel as though we didn’t matter and we’re making her job hard . Food pretty good but my particular plate was cold ! Not warm but cold . I had to take my plate to the counter due to her lack of coming over . The longer I sat the more colder it got . My plate was hot but good cold . And I absolutely hate sending things back, I rather tough it out but this couldn’t bare . On top of the attitude , my food , I get the check and right before the check I asked her for some to go plates cause it was very clear we needed it . She said okay , acknowledge what I asked for but 5 min later came back without plates and took the ppl behind us order . So I proceed to just pay and I grabbed the to go plates myself from the cashier (the guy) who sat my money on the counter when I placed it in his hand . Smh I was attentive to him so he could’ve gave me my money in my hand . ALL BAD . As I proceeded to my table with my to go plates cause she never came back with none , I noticed our plates were gone . All of them . My nephews had to go pee so my fiancé took them to the bathroom as I gathered things ready . But I was right there paying and it was so clear food was on the table. I told them what happened and they gave me attitude about that knowing that it was their fault. No apology, then tried to go bk and fourth with me about it . My plate was 60% gone but it was things I’d eat later . My nephews plate was definitely full. They remade it to how much they felt was thrown away. I was new to the community and this breakfast spot was recommended to me. So I decided to order the prices seem to be reasonable and my food was great. The second time I placed a order, I order the same thing but the price seem to be different from last time. But I paid for my food and kept it moving. The 3rd time I order it was the same the price was higher than last time. So I asked the guy in the front why does it seem the prices keep rising and I always order the same thing he replied “I don’t know” from my first experience with this guy I didn’t like he’s very rude and when he prints the receipt he slides it in the counter instead of handed it to you. I asked him about coffee creamer for my coffee and he had a attitude like it was his creamer I was asking for. He wouldn’t even get the creamer I was asking for he told me “Go and get it off the table”. Maybe he needs to be retrained in customer service skills because he has none and his attitude will make people like me not want to ever return to this restaurant. When I arrived on an obviously slow Wednesday afternoon no staff even noticed my presence. I hesitated, unsure if I should wait or seat myself. There was no sign to indicate. So I walked toward an empty table I thought was clean, but upon close inspection it was a mess. So back to the entrance area I go and finally a server who had originally ignored me, rudely told me to be patient and she'd be right with me. I remained quiet and did not respond. My dining companion who had been parking the car walked in and her attitude magically changed. We were seated and placed our food order. Somehow we got an entirely different waitress and she was a sweet Angel. We both ordered different skillets and they were yummy good.
