First, I really hate to leave this and I've rarely given negative/neutral reviews, but I can't stop thinking about what an odd experience I had.
I placed my first order after hearing some good things and I chose local pickup, since I had a couple of trips to make to Bremen. I received an email 5/4/24 that my order was ready in Bremen and there was no address on the pickup notification at all, so I referenced the website and it was only one address for pickup, which appeared to be a home address. I didn't think anything of it because there was no mention of her having a storefront, so I was unaware there was one. I drove to the location provided and it was residential, but I expected that, and there was no order outside for porch pickup. I messaged them and kindly asked about my order, and was told pickups are only at her storefront location and the website shouldn't even have her home address (like maybe she didn't believe me) and she then offered to "invoice" me for shipping. No apology, and I was left to feel like I should've known this already. I sent a screenshot to Mrs. Lackey with the address I had from her website for local pickup and that it was really confusing to those who didn't know about her storefront. I got a nice enough response, but again no apology and the wording again left me feeling like it was my fault. I asked her to please ship it due to the confusion and since I'd already drove out for pickup. I provided my address on the screenshot I sent her and the text of the email on 5/7/24. On 5/20/24, I still had not received my order and inquired if she had been able to ship it. The response was short, but the gist was "We need your address since we don't have it, because you chose to pickup". This basically tells me that my order was just sitting there and the owner didn't really think it was right to correct this mistake. Again, I have yet to receive an apology. It really isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but it was odd wording and I don't love the way her responses made me feel as a customer. I followed the instructions on her website and have been very nice in return. Never once did I receive an apology, which would've really made a difference in my experience here.
The really weird thing is that the home address is STILL listed as the only address for local pickup on the website.
Thankfully, I did receive my order but it was somewhat disappointing since the listing said the adult shirt would be comfort colors brand and my shirt was not, it was a cheaper, thinner material. That was the main reason I chose the one I did. This alone wouldn't have been a big deal to me if I had not already had a weird experience with this company. Hopefully the pajamas I ordered as a preorder are more as expected.
Anyways, I will not do business again with june+grey, and I really hate that because I LOVE giving small businesses...

She does a great job designing each shirt to match perfectly with each spirit day because we all know thereās a ton! Vicki truly does care about her customers because the day before school starts I couldnāt find my girlās favorite skirt to wear for spirit day with her jersey and Vicki let me come in after hours to grab that skirt and also shop! She spent the entire time scrolling on her phone. Not one time did she offer to assist with finding anything. This is the only local store I have been to where the clerk doesnāt so much as say hello or goodbye when people come and go. The owner needs to do a better job of hiring...
