Update. I'm taking back my five star rating. This is why. Well I just remembered why I was getting my fried chicken lately at stop and shop instead of here even though it's great fried chicken! The person who waited on me twice now was getting really angry and very combative just because I asked for a price for all 8 pieces. 4 thighs and 4 drums and a few biscuits. For 4 pieces and a biscuit, it was 8.99 .That's a reasonable price except I wanted 8 pieces of which 4 of them were drumsticks. I thought that was too much to pay so I asked for a price for the whole thing since they usually do that because I buy a lot for my frig at work and I give to some co workers. It would've cost like 18.00 for 4 thighs and 4 drums and 2 biscuits. Not worth it. Ranting and raving this person went on and on and on about how I didn't believe them and that person was not going to wait on me.etc. Well I asked for the mgr for a price and he said same so I only got 4 thighs. That person made such a big scene in the store that I'm going to drive the extra miles to Fairfield and get a whole huge container of equally great fried chicken and pay only 8.99 for at least 8 pieces at Stop and Shop just because I didn't like the way it was handled and thanks for trying to ruin my day! I will probably think of you every time I eat a piece of fried chicken. Thanks! Now you can see I was a frequent customer that's what I told them. If you go there whatever you do don't deviate from their price. They are not capable of dealing with it nicely. Although it was upsetting I didnt try to argue with them. I know how to make a big scene too if I wanted to. I know that it was just a way to suppress and intimidate me. It just wasn't worth making it worse. So I got my 4 pieces of Great chicken and Great biscuit and left. Probably won't go back and not because of the fact that they wouldn't give the price for the 4 drums but because the person was so damn mean. The Spanish man in the morning is rude I asked for soft scrambled eggs he ignored me then when I asked him to take them off the stove he took his time (mine was the only sandwich) and started wrapping it without the extra cheese I paid for.
