Called to ask if they use lard, vegetable shortening or oil in their baked goods and the lady said she didn't know because she was the counter person the baker did all the baking. The donuts are always fresh. Even though this bakery is 45 minutes away vs the one in Wallingford that’s only 25, I prefer driving to this one. I visited this bakery and it’s good because it has a good verity of bread and cake. you can customize your cake. There is soft bread and it’s good. You can buy pieces of cake.
