Hancock Lumber — Local services in Bridgton

I have recently built a home in Bridgton Maine and used Hancock lumber as our supplier for lumber and windows. We have had numerous issues, from the lumber takeoff to the wrong application of our windows. Owning a successful company myself, passing on a problem to the homeowner is the wrong way to go about solving a problem. If you are looking to build a home and you are not familiar with all of the products that you are purchasing from Hancock, DO NOT rely on the sales staff to give you the right information. They are not familiar with all there products but they have no problem selling them to you. We have had numerous issues and we have waited months for someone to call us back. At this current time we still have the same issues and we are left trying to fix these issues on our own. With the money we spent, you would figure they would assist us with a solution to the problem. Instead they want to pass the buck! When we started the search for lumber yards, we were looking for service, not the cheapest company.
