Worst place to go 100 percent š¤£šÆ had purchased a system, no one bothered to test it at all before I bought it. Purchased a few games also, one was nice the other was a HUGE FLOP! Buffed and all still didnt work. Brought the system back to geta refund or a return. There isnt no cash back signs posted when I was in there and if there was its hiding under sum junk š¤£. They then proceed to test the system and say " its working here" . OK cool I didnt purchase it for it to work in the store lmfao. Huh? Need it to work at the crib too. After a little back and forth they finally decided to give me another system, mind you both system were completely filthy. GET IT HOME AND BAM SAME DAMN THING!! Just like everyone else I work hard for what I get, so I expect a certain amount of trust when the store says " works guaranteed ". Hell even the cheap off brand controller dosent even work š¤£š¤£š¤£ I really dont understand how this place hasnt had its doors closed tbh. BUT HEY live and you learn š. Got curious to see if anyone else had this issue and sure enough there was. APOLOGIES for all of those who lost good money to this place," HIGHLY RECOMMEND 2 DUDES GAMING IN ELIZABETHTON!!!!!!!" for your retro...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really like this place and have found the employees to be knowledgeable and kind. My one and only issue with it is that I can't take my kids. They have boxes all in the back on display with the candy and fun snacks and stuff (the things that the kids go for) that have anime girls in lingerie and extremely skimpy outfits, sultry poses, tatas hanging out and all that- right at eye level and beyond. I know some people don't care, but as a mom who loves shops like this, I wish I could bring my kids without wanting to shield their eyes. It's actually the only "nerd shop" that I have found around the tri cities that I don't like to take my kids to. But then again, this might be a reason for someone to specifically want to shop here, as I have never seen those particular models sold anywhere else in a brick and mortar! To each his...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe prices were wildly inflated, even for retro games. They had some really neat stuff, but when the answer to the question "How much are these mildly uncommon action figures?" is "Expensive, hardy Harr Harr", best to shop online for that sort of thing.. Stores like this horde retro titles and hold them hostage at unbelievably inaccurate prices in the hopes that one, poor soul will wonder in with an itch to play a childhood favorite, and unknowingly pay 3-4X what it originally retailed, therefore securing another month of rent, while simultaneously making collecting even the most basic retro equipment a wealthy man's hobby.. I'm sure that there will be some sort of detached, self preservation to justify all this, but let's just call it what it is; greed.. Just...
