I've eaten here twice. Once a few months ago was honestly great as I got the tater tots, baked beans and brisket. The brisket was juicy and good enough I didn't even need the sauce. Service was okay I suppose, the lady in the window when I placed my order wasn't that friendly but oh well I'm there for food. Fast forward to a couple of days ago. Ordered Mac n cheese, baked beans and brisket. The baked beans were good, the macaroni was straight out of a can(or at least tasted like it) and the brisket....well the brisket was so hard and dry I literally hurt my teeth trying to chew it. How do you make brisket that's dryer than jerky? Also why is there a tips drawer outside of the order window? You're not delivering anything and you're a drive thru? Woman at the window was unfriendly as the last time. I noticed the help wanted sign....maybe get someone who knows how to cook?

Had to travel 2.5 hrs (Live in NC) for a part for my car that was only in Bristol. Being from just out side Lexington, NC, I was interested in seeing what kind of BBQ Bristol has to offer. Que BristolBBQ!! 1st- sweetest people EVER! SHOUTOUT to the lady from Asheville! 2nd- The tots are done to PERFECTION, and the potato salad gives my wifes a run for its money. Wife couldn't stop talking about her onion rings! 3rd- The MEAT! I got pulled pork. After taking 1 bite, I called them up and told them it was the best I've had (the sauce is PHENOMENAL, but not needed bc the smoke flavor permeates ever strand of meat)! The wife got the brisket, and all she could say was "it's REALLY good". She's not one for words sometimes, specially when something is amazing. 4th and final- MAKE A REASON TO COME HERE! Period! You WONT REGRET A THING!

Likely the worst BBQ I've ever had! This pre-sauced pulled pork sandwich was FULL of gristle and fat. The little I was able to salvage tasted awful! I got a side of beans, potato salad and an extra side of cole slaw to go with my dinner plate - I'd compare their taste to low-end grocery store deli sides, but even that is giving them too much credit .. and what's up with using pork as a filler in the beans?! So, in conclusion, 2 very low quality pulled pork sandwich dinner plates with tiny tasteless sides at a whopping cost of over $20 is a HUGE FAIL!

Today was my husband and I's first time eating here. We ordered the pulled pork plate, loaded nachos, peach cobbler and slaw. My pulled pork was very good it came with choice if two sides; I got green beans and mac n cheese, it came with a roll too! The green beans had bits of meat in them, like home cooking, they were a little spicy, pepper seasoned without the pepper, but I liked it! The mac and cheese was on point, it was very creamy and very good consistency macaroni cooked good, not to soggy! The roll was just a store bought roll like sweet Hawaiian. I would say overall one of the best places I have eaten Bbq from. Great job Bristol Bbq! My husband said his nachos were very good as well, we had been looking for months for a place that served "Kansas city" style nachos, he said they compared very well to what he had in Pittsburg ( his favorite). Only complaint he had was that he needed to share them, he couldn't eat them all. We also got the peach cobbler, well I will have to wait a bit to try it, currently too full. Oh yeah , can't forget about the man at the window( owner maybe) he was very helpful, very nice and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you! Thumbs up! We will definitely be back for more! Definitely a spot to try if you like...

I feel like my 2 stars is generous considering what else we have locally to compare this place to. Those who rated 3+ stars have got me wondering... Have you never had good BBQ or do you just love Bush's baked beans with added pork served alongside unreasonably dry meat topped with an obnoxious vinegar-saturated sauce? The 2 stars exist due to fair pricing. I do think $2 for the small sides is a bit much but it's 2018 and par for the course so overall pricing was reasonable. I'll even mention the friendly staff and quick turn around. Probably less than 7 minutes from start to finish in the drive thru. The food was just less than desirable. Fries=good. Pork, slaw, sauce... Heck even the bun was just lacking in quality. I'll never go back for absolute certain. Pick ANYwhere else and the BBQ is better. Ridgewood, Firehouse, Phil's Dream Pit, Braedens, Pratts, Bonefire... Take your pick. Any are significantly better. Had I read these reviews, I'd be next in line at Bristol BBQ to try it and would be sorely disappointed. I came here to see if i was the only one and apparently I am one of the very few who don't absolutely love it. Just being real. If you're a fan of any of my aforementioned BBQ staples, don't waste your time here....

I’ve been here about 7 times and its a decent place to eat, but it’s definitely not the best Barbecue in Bristol.

It’s a drive through only restaurant which gives it a fast food impression, which is not horrible. It’s quick and convenient which is a nice change of pace for a bbq restaurant, and the staff mostly seems pretty nice.

Food wise it’s…….okay. It’s nothing horrible but not a top notch bbq dive. Brisket and Pork both have decent flavor but tend to be on the overdone side. Sauce is a over sweetened mess, with a excess of brown sugar and molasses. Side are pretty run of the mill, beans, Mac and cheese, green bean; nothing horrible, nothing great. They do have some interesting combinations such as the BBQ tots and loaded nachos that are a fun spin. Everything is priced reasonably as well.

They do have a tendency to be out of certain thing. Not a lot, but enough to notice.

Overall Bristol BBQ is the McDonalds of local barbecue. Not a top notch spot by any means, but not horrible. Quick,...
