Bear Lee New — Local services in Broken Arrow

Very disappointed in my first time here. I understand policy and rules, so I came back a second time with the proper baskets and took time to fold all my clothes for them to go through. Staff was not friendly at all, did not make me feel welcome as a customer trying to establish an account for business together. But I waited and ignored that as they are younger teenagers and probably don’t understand the effect or their attitude/tones. After almost 40 minutes, she explained I was short 6 items for the threshold to be accepted as a customer but they still wanted a pile of 10+ items that wasn’t included in the other total amount to start up an account?? My clothes are name brand, very well taken care of, clean, etc but I do understand not all items are needed. She told me to bring more baskets for them to go through in order to be an account holder but wanted to hold on to my other items without my name and information. Again, I understand rules but this extremities for a consignment shop is over the top. Do not recommend and will be keeping my business with Uptown Resale a mile over because I don’t have to bring baskets and I can drop off and pick up without waiting them to examine clothing. I have wasted so much time already trying to set up an account here. Many 1 star reviews...

I am 50/50 with how I feel. Like I really almost gave 2 STARS and if it weren't for the quality of clothing they sell, they would have a two star review from me for sure!

I grew up in Broken Arrow and use to really enjoy coming here to shop. The past 4 or 5 times I have come here have been a last resort while looking for specific items elsewhere and not finding them. The reason this has become a once or twice a year place for me to come to (and only if I have to) is because the staff is extremely rude, closed off, and almost never speak unless it is to tell you your total. Which was true again today.

While I was shopping today I was reminded of why I avoid it if I can. It's sad to say, when I use to shop here at least twice a month. There are a few items that seem over priced but overall, great deals on great quality clothing, shoes, and accessories.

The simple fact that customer service is LACKING to the point that there are a ton of other reviews about it and nothing has been done means that they just don't care.no

Edited to add: Echo Shop in Tulsa is worth the drive if you want amazing quality, like Bearlee New. However the customer service at Echo Shop is Above and Beyond that of...

I’ve been taking my kids clothing here for several years and never had a problem. I went to drop some off today and experienced the incredibly rude employees everyone keeps mentioning. I had two large bags of clothing that were clearly visible when I walked in. The employee looked at me, walked all the way around to the counter, looked at my bags again and said we stopped accepting clothes at 6. I didn’t know this was a policy and if it is a policy that’s fine but why wait until I lug everything in and walk yourself around the counter to tell me. I’m really disappointed.

My mother took several like new maternity and infant clothes in a month ago. The first time she went she was told there was no one there who could look at the clothes to see if they would take them. The second time she went the girl said they Couldn’t take any of the clothing because the baby pajamas didn’t have zippers (they all had zippers) and the other clothes had stains (none of the clothing had stains).

Im not sure what has happened with this business but it definitely appears to be going down hill and that I need to find another place to consign my...
