HOW Thrift Store — Local services in Broken Arrow

They have been so wonderful to me. I've had to buy everything from silverware to Furniture. You name it I don't got it. I bought a set of dishes for $2. I have to give credit to all the employees there. All that is all the people that work there have been very nice and understanding. Their always willing to help you.nd They save and delivered my stuff to my home for $20. You don't have a truck or someone to help you. That is the way to go. You can walk into their place everyday and they'll have new items in large quantities that employs pick up and bring back to the H.O.W Foundation. I've never even seen the employees there sit not once. they're always go go go and sweating their butts off. I have to give a huge thanks to Joe Earls. The thrift store manager. He always had a smile on his face, kind, and more than willing to help you out in any way. If you don't know it. The H.O.W Foundation hires people that are recovering from alcohol and drugs. You guys rock!!!! At least they admit their problems and are doing their best to work it out. We all have something wrong with us. They are willing to admit it. Thanks H.O.W Foundation. We need you and a big thanks.

I love this place. I stop in almost every day. Joe is the best and so friendly! Pretty sure I’m closer with him than some of my own family. Taking a minute to chat with him is part of the experience for me, this place is part of my every day life. When I started shopping here, I was going through one of the worst spells of depression I’ve ever had, And somehow this program that is supposed to be recovery for men with addiction issues ended up saving me. Some of the guys there clearly don’t care and sadly won’t finish the program, but the ones who care enough to learn your name and what you like and sometimes even put things aside for you, those are the ones i will always remember. I don’t even think they realize what a difference THEY make in MY life. It is kind of sad when they do finish the program and leave and bam, they’re just out of your life. All you can do is hope they stay strong out there! I support everything the organization stands for and I love picking junk here. You seriously never know what you’re going to find! Best prices around. I love all you guys! It’s always the highlight of my day and they make ME feel special, crazy how much you can build a rapport going in even 15...

Went in for a dvd player for my kids. Found some nice looking ones with dust on them, went to ask for a price on them since nothing is priced. When they told me the price, which was very reasonable, I asked if the dvd player worked at which point the man laughs out loud and says, “I don’t know if it works??”. Not a big deal honestly, I plugged it into the wall and made sure it at least came on and opened and closed. Got home, the thing will not play a dvd at all. I called them to ask if I could exchange it and he told me they don’t do that. So they don’t know if these things work, but won’t do what’s right when it doesn’t? I’m a pregnant, newly single mother I can’t just go buy every dvd player they own just to hope one works. I won’t even comment on the other issues because the other comments say it perfectly anyway. I won’t be returning and definitely won’t be recommending this...
