This place is the best and I can spend my entire day here if I could. Came in looking just for some cards and old school games which I did. They have an amazing collection of old school video games, figures, and TCG cards. I found what I wanted but I also left with some new friends, a new community, and it's become my home away from home. If you want to have a great time, kick back and relax with some old school video games like back in the days or battle it out with some card games you, your family, and friends all welcome to it. Justin and his family are the nicest people you'll ever meet and they'll make sure you're taken care of. It can get a little chaotic at times but the more the merrier and it's always a good time. The community is small but it's slowly growing because of the effort they put into their customers because when you walk through those doors you're treated like family, so I recommend you come in and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for and...
Read moreSo so happy to have a gaming store in South BA! Trying to find games, packs, and activities for the family without going to BigBox stores is difficult. Family owned, and so so nice and knowledgeable and upfront! We just started playing Pokemon as a family and I discovered Lorcana! I’m out of my element in gaming stores, but I felt right at home and didn’t feel awkward asking questions ( well I did, but that was on me, not them -haha). We will make this our go-to for our TCG needs! Also love they have games up that you can borrow and play right there in shop! Kids explored the Nintendo 64, and Duck Hunt! Great afternoon family activity today that was totally unexpected! And being our first visit got a special treat and opened packs of cards together!!! Ollie felt especially big as he talked shop with the owners/staff and negotiated card deals! Family oriented and easy to approach. I can’t say that’s how I describe a similar type of...
Read moreGreat Inventory, friendly staff, but one flaw. I had a copy of Crazy Taxi (on Dreamcast cause that’s the best version) that was working but a little glitchy, so I took it to get resurfaced and went here (I usually get games resurfaced at another store but it was closed due to a flood). So they did the resurfacing for about $3, but when I got home and tested it, the Dreamcast made very loud noises (I know it is usually loud but not this loud) and the game wouldn’t boot. I made sure it wasn’t my console by putting in Sonic Shuffle (underrated gem), and it worked perfectly. This store is great for buying games, but unless you want an expensive paperweight, don’t get a disc resurfacing. Thankfully Crazy Taxi is still cheap so I ordered one on eBay for around $20, but I still want to warn people in case they bring in...
