Truly committed to excellence . Ashley Boyers conditioned my hair for a month to get it into shape for a braid perm. Have not seen that dedication anywhere else. I choose to come back year after year for my hair care needs. ..... Be warned my hair was ruined. It's been 8 months since Ashley destroyed my hair. Once a week for a month I came in and had my hair conditioned to get it in to shape for a perm I color my hair and have a lot of long dark hair. ( had one years ago) I Wanted a lose wide curl. Ashley showed me pictures of braid perms she's done. I had never seen that before. Each week she assured me it would not be some tight frizzy undefined look. I went home with wet hair after getting it permed. And as it dried it was clear I had a terrible frizzy crimped styled hair. I went back and was beyond mad. The instructor said they could either cut off my long hair or reperm it. I came back one month later to get my hair corrected. But when I returned I had to deal with a different instructor (the original was on vacation) She said my hair would fall out if they permed it and worse Ashley now tried to changed her description of the perm I was given and the expected results. She repeatedly lied to me I called her out on it after all they were her pictures so there was no confusion about the expected results.The damage is done I have no curl at all it's crimped the complete opposite of what I wanted. In the end they said I could have a hair conditioning treatment for my troubles. But I needed to cut my hair off. I went home and cut off my long hair and the texture 8 months later is the same awful straw. I can straighten it but the first sign of humidity​ it's frizzy again . Neveragain. Be warned I thought I was in good hands and had instructor oversight to count...

So after a month of having my hair spiral permed from this place, it looks like I have waves not curls. Here’s a little back story…. Go in and was originally quoted $30 for perm and an extra $10 if my hair was long. Ok fine, get there she cuts 8 inches off my hair putting it close to my shoulders. Then the instructor says it’ll be an extra $20 since she’s having to use 2 perm kits on my hair (my hair is NOT Thick! It’s now shoulder length so I was a bit confused). So you’d think after 2 perm kits & cutting my hair to my shoulders from the middle of my back that it’d curl right?!? Nope! Still looks wavy. Very disappointed for $71!! But I was told if the curls weren’t tight enough I could come back after 30 days. Sorry but I won’t go back again. Paying double what I went into pay on top of not getting curls I wanted is a complete disappointment. Oh yeah and I was told I could shampoo my hair 2 days after the perm was put on and upon googling it says 72 hours so the tech didn’t even give me...

I love cosmetology education center! I did my master instructor course, I wouldn't have picked to go elsewhere! The location is perfect, the building is beautiful! The staff is amazing, they care!! It's not just a school, it's a family! They more than prepare the students for state board exams! More than that, they make sure the students are industry ready! They students will go out into the field confident, practiced, and successful!! CEC, enables the graduates to have had experience in ALL of the cosmetology world!! Not, just certain areas!! This make a huge difference!! CEC, allows the students to be creative and learn more than what is in a text book!! Instructors are caring and educated!!!
