Uptown Resale & Consignments — Local services in Broken Arrow

I’ve come a couple of times, but this time me and a friend experienced the worst customer service. We were celebrating my friends birthday having an amazing time shopping and trying on clothes and finding clothes that looked amazing on us. (Shopping can be really hard for me because I don’t always find clothes that make me feel beautiful, and I was actually finding clothes that were doing that). When two employees yelled at us harshly and one of them actually physically clapped at us condescendingly and told us that there was 20 minutes before closing and that there was a waiting line for the dressing rooms. (We weren’t aware that there was a long waiting line and we were wrapping up anyways PLUS there were 7 dressing rooms.) The problem wasn’t what they said to us, because that would have been no biggie. It was how we were spoken to and treated. It was extremely degrading and embarrassing and sapped all the joy we had just experienced. Again If made aware kindly it would have been no biggie! It was a huge bummer because they do have awesome clothes, but if I’m going to be treated degradingly than I’d rather go somewhere that the employees are encouraging. We also overheard another employee be extremely rude to another lady who asked if they had a restroom available and she snapped back at the customer. I will NOTE that the lady that checked us out and another lady that gave us the dressing room key were very kind. Unfortunately it just takes a few to ruin...

I have purchased a lot of clothing from this place. I took a box of clothing in for resale and she said, "since it's past 5:30 and we can't go through these until tomorrow and we will call you" - needless to say they did NOT call me. When I called them 3 days later they said they called me but I have no voice mail. That is a lie because not only do I have voice mail but I get messages every day on it. She was VERY rude about it and said they were giving me $7 for a huge box of lovely name brand clothing. Of course I have NO WAY of knowing what they kept because "after 24 hrs they donate it".... I didn't believe a word she said. There is no doubt they kept all the clothes and just lied to me. I will NEVER go back there and certainly will not recommend them to anyone. They can't have that store without people bringing in their used clothing to sell. If they treat everyone like they did me they will have NOTHING to sell. I did notice when I was there their inventory was way down and couldn't find a thing to buy. There are used clothing stores all over Tulsa and BA so I doubt I will have trouble finding another one that...

This place is a nightmare. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Used jeans were $20-$30. Used Halloween costumes were the same price you could buy it brand new. Nasty used Halloween wigs with ratted hair, that smelled bad. They have it so packed with overpriced merchandise, you can barely move. It’s a disgusting place with the rudest people. I had brought in few things for consignment, as I had an account there, so I looked around while they looked through my things, which had sold before quickly. When I was done looking and went back to see what they had selected to sell…the young girl had only picked couple of items and when I asked why..she said “because your items was dirty and stained” lol. There was nothing in the container dirty or stained…one pair of converse had been worn once. Banana Republic pants worn once. Lands end vest worn once. My son’s flannel pants, hardly worn out. Not one thing was dirty or stained…it’s one thing to just not want my things to resale, it’s quite another to lie to my face, in front of everyone and claim my things was dirty and stained. I will never set foot in this...
