Updated Review (1/4/21): After several phone calls and emails with corporate, I was told that I would be able to switch in store. But it was still up to the storeās discretion to do so. I was finally was able to exchange the defective item, I donāt know if it was due in part of my previous review, purchase history (I am an active crown rewards member and purchase a lot of ornaments) or someone from corporate contacting the store as I was in constant contact with an representative. I still wouldnāt give the establishment 5 stars due the rudeness over the phone. I will keep receipts going forward but I am still hesitant in shopping at this location.
Previous Review (12/2021): I wouldnāt recommend this hallmark location to anyone. I shopped for ornaments this year and it will be my last time spending money there. I brought a Disney carousel there as a Christmas gift early because I had multiple hallmark crown rewards that wouldāve expired if I didnāt use it. Well I didnāt open the carousel till now to check it and it is leaking oil everywhere on the item itself and the box.
My mistake is not keeping my receipt but corporate told me the store is able to take my item for exchange no receipt at the current retail selling price. That is a lie apparently and Lisa who is a worker at this store only wants to exchange with a receipt told me that I couldāve brought it any other hallmark and I didnāt. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe staff at the 124th location is exceptional. Service was above and beyond. A customer entered the store looking for masks. The store employee quickly offered assistance. It was obvious the customer would have trouble getting around the store so the employee picked out a selection of masks while the customer waited at the register. The customer then stated she needed a card. The employee asked for a few details on the type of card and once again sprang into action. The employee selected a few cards that may be appropriate and presented to the customer.
You made the shopping experience for this customer extremely easy. It is this type of service that keeps customers coming back!
Beyond a vendor / customer transaction this was a demonstration of kindness and compassion for another āpersonā.

Lisa, the manager has been really communicative to the Squishmallow hunters in Wisconsin about availability & stock to the point a group was created for the Frederick Hallmark stores to communicate their inventory to make it easier & less hectic for us to shop.
