I usually enjoy shopping at Kohl’s for their collection, but this time I had a disappointing and uncomfortable experience with the staff. I asked them to hold a pair of Nike shoes (hold slip and photo attached). The date was clearly written, but when I returned before the hold expired, I was told the shoes had been sold. I spoke to Manager Kathy, who admitted it was their mistake and kindly offered 45% off another Nike pair over the phone . I let her know I live on the east side and work in Wauwatosa, so I’d come in a few days. She said she would inform the staff. On June 21, after work, I went back, found a new Nike pair I liked, and asked for Kathy—she wasn’t there, so another manager, Dave, was called. I calmly explained everything, but he said he couldn’t honor the 45% offer and would only give 30%. He asked me if I had any email from Kathy confirming the discount. I told him I wasn’t aware I needed an email—if I had known, I would have asked her for one. I also mentioned that a staff member who witnessed the original issue was nearby. I politely asked Dave if he could speak with her. He said he had already asked her, and I said I’d wait for her to return. I assumed she went to the back, possibly near the CCTV area. To my surprise, Dave then said, “It’s not good to stalk people.” That comment was unnecessary, inappropriate, and made me feel very uncomfortable. I was simply trying to get clarity in a calm and respectful way. This review isn’t about missing a discount—it’s about how I was spoken to as a customer. Kohl’s has a great collection, but I truly hope they improve staff communication and customer handling. Respect and professionalism should always come first.

2 Signs stated 2 tshirts for sale for $24. All tshirts were on the same shelf. When I brought to checkout, they told me only the v neck, not the scoop neck were on the deal. I went back to look and the sign said. Nothing about what type of neck. Just the brand name and long sleeve.

This review is due to a single experience that we had shopping at this location today, and I felt like I needed to write it to warn any other parents who might be shopping at this location with their children. We took our kids in to see Santa today, and afterwards we needed to pick up a few items. While we were near the children’s section, an employee came up to us and our 2-1/2 year old daughter, and commented about the robots we were standing by. She asked our daughter if she liked the robots, and then said “Let me see if I can try and get you one.” My husband and I thought this was odd, but maybe they were doing some sort of giveaway drawing or something you had to sign up for, so we didn’t say anything, and then our daughter didn’t respond, so then the employee asked our daughter, “do you like Frozen?”, which of course our daughter loves, and then the employee said, “do you want a doll? Let me show you these over here” and proceeded to take us to a nearby Frozen doll display area. My husband and I looked at each other wondering if they were giving away free dolls or something? She then kneeled down next to our daughter, showing her the different Elsa and Anna dolls, asking which one she wanted. Mind you, these were not free dolls, nor were they cheap. My daughter chose one of the Anna dolls and the employee smiled and quickly walked away, leaving us with a daughter who on a normal day would have been extremely excited expecting that she now owned this doll and was going to be taking it home. Luckily for us, we had just visited Santa, and she was excited over the free Play-Doh she had received from him, and we were able to distract her with that and put the doll back on the shelf. We were so shocked and couldn’t believe it had actually happened, as it all happened fairly quickly, and didn’t catch the employee’s name. Some parents may not be able to afford random expensive toys for their children while out running errands, and employees tricking kids into wanting something as if it were free and then walking away made me sick to my stomach. It is a screwed up thing to...

Today I entered the store, excited and hopeful of finding some great deals as I had seen specific items online. I even planned my trip accordingly for time efficiency . I should've turned and left as I walked towards the entrance and saw several shoppers leaving the store empty-handed. Now, I realize that with a sale of this type you're not going to find every single thing you want- it changes constantly, however, there were no inventory issues online, these items were available for at store pick up thus I felt there would be no question. This is during their highly promoted 80% off sale. Typically I look forward to seeing at least a few items that are discounted to add to my wardrobe. Today I had a specific need for an upcoming event. Full disclosure I do not shop in store frequently, and I do realize retail stores change their layout. However I almost feel today they change their layout in such a way to ensure shoppers could not find the deals. And I realize he's anality takes part in this, but it really felt kind of empty Clearance racks, were few and far between. And literally nothing I saw online was on the rack in the store. As I was shopping, doing my best to find something that was not bright green or bright yellow, or meant for a cruise, I witnessed excited shoppers entering the store with carts waiting to fill them with great bargains as had been promoted. I literally saw people scouring the store, trying to find anything that they wanted to buy that had been promoted digitally, through E blast, etc. I wanted to turn and say to them they're making it pretty difficult to find anything? What used to be women's was now girls, where I expected to see clearance dresses there were absolutely none I mean zero I don't know where They are hiding the sale items that they're showing on the website, but they definitely are not on the rack Do...
