I needed my iPhone 13 screen repaired and scheduled an appointment on the website to be completed at the Brookhaven, PA store at 10:00 am. It was then confirmed. Online, it shows the store opens at 9:00 am so around 9:30 I made the 30 minute trip from my home - with 4 kids in the van - to drop my phone off at my appointment time, thinking if I got there a couple minutes prior it wouldn't be a problem. Upon arriving the doors were locked and a sign was hung with "NEW STORE HOURS" stating they now open at 10. I waited a few minutes and called the store, but no one answered. I knocked on the door several times in vain because no one was there to hear it. After 30 minutes I contacted another location and decided to take my phone there. I finally received a phone call from the Brookhaven store returning my call and I explained what happened to the man, letting him know that I was forced to take my phone elsewhere and his response was "Oh well, I didn't have parts for your iPhone 13 anyway." Whoever this man is should be forced to take part in a professionalism course, made aware of the importance of being to work on time and potentially reviewed for his behavior toward customers. On the contrary, the man Mohammed at the Springfield, PA location went ABOVE AND BEYOND to get my phone repaired and was incredibly polite; an absolute pleasure to work with. (Even though I ordered on Monday and the store was already closed) got a call the next day that it was not available. No attempt to find it at another location or to retain the sale at all, just we don't have it here, have a nice day. So I ordered online from napa and 3 minutes later got a text that it was ready for pickup. They also offered to deliver to my home same day for free since I lived within 5 miles. This place seems small enough they should have control of their inventory, bad sign. Atleast they called to tell me before wasting my time...
Read moreI stopped in to Batteries Plus for the first time recently to recycle and old battery and found the staff to be very pleasant, when Vas mentioned that he was an Apple Certified Repair Technician I asked him how much it would cost to have a charging issue with my iPhone checked out. Vas seemed more interested in fixing my phone than was in having it fixed that he offered to check it out free of charge and he deduced the problem and fixed the issue in about ten minutes and would not accept payment when I asked how much I owed him.
