Warnell Family Pharmacy and Soda Shoppe — Local services in Brownsville

A very clean store with some of the nicest people you will meet! You feel like you have stepped back in time! It has a very nostalgic atmosphere! There is a soda fountain here with various great soda combinations to choose from! If you prefer ice cream or a shake those are also available as well! There is also a no sugar added ice cream option for those who have to be conscious of diabetic issues.They also have a sweet shop with a huge variety of selections to pick from! If you want a sandwich they can fix you up one too! They also have a small but nice seating area with tables if you want to eat inside. There are also stools at the soda/shake counter to wait while they prepare them for you. The shakes and soda are well worth waiting for also! Besides all of this it is also a drug store where they will fill prescriptions in a courteous and timely manner! All employees have been friendly and helpful whenever I have been there!...

Everyone who works there is super nice. I haven't yet had any need to have prescriptions filled here, but I've gotten drinks and food from their little cafe (?) type of place several times. The milkshakes are the best and the bakery items (single serving cakes, cupcakes, mini cheesecake, cookies...) have been consistently fantastic. One minor complaint is that I ordered a ham and cheese panini sandwich and for the price I expected something a little more... substantial I guess. It was just normal bread with what I think was small slices of cheddar cheese and provolone and then 2 extremely small and thin circular slices of ham deli meat. The entire area within an inch of the perimeter of the bread had nothing on it because the cheese and meat were so little in size and quantity. Very disappointing for about $10.
