I have to say that if i didnt live 1 mile away i would never return to this winn dixie store. first off, there is a women who patrols the help desk and bagging area with sandy blond hair that is the rudest women i have come across in close to a year. she just glares at people as they come through the doors and has a bitter attitude, and rarely offers to help. she problably won't actually. . secondly. all of the employees in the bakery / deli are just awesome about customer service and they are all friendly and seem like they genuinly want to help you out. except this tall old rude white women who has had a ugly attitude every time i have seen her, and god forbid i look like i need help and she be the only one near by. she makes sure that i understand that i know that i am interupting her job details. everytime. i would post the names of these 2 unsatisfactory women but that would be to far and to mean on my part so i will not. EVERYONE else in the store are very nice and very very helpfull and represent winn dixie well. the store itself is nice and has a great selection of items. my only other problem with the store is in the organic area. i used to buy jars of organic 'hot' salsa from them almost daily, but they kept on covering up my favorite flavor of Hot" with some bullcrap chapoltea flavor that no one is buying and they have to many off. and now because they keep filling up the 'hot' section with that bullsht flavor they have completely forgot to oder more of the hot, for over a week now they dont have any hot salsa in that brand, The only reason i will ever go back is that it is to damn convieniant for me not too sometimes. but when i have the time to travel farther and stock up, i will most likely be going back to my favvorite grocery store on the other side of town that sstarts with the letter 'p', when i wish i could enjoy shopping at...
Read moreThis should be a pharmacy review not this WD as a whole. This is my opinion. There was one lady that worked there as a pharmacist or tech wish I knew but anyway she was courteous and helpful now every person I have dealt with in that department seems to have the attitude that I'm hindering them from something. Facial expressions of pure missery and robotic tone with heavy sigh. I understand they are human and always be upbeat with that said I just expect nothing more or less from them. It has been several years now. The other way I personally think they may be miserable is the fact if closing hrs are example 5pm don't show up 4:55 thinking you are going to find them open I have a 25% chance of them being open @5 even 10 till closing. Not like gate pulled down I mean lights out gate down abandoned at 5 till like wow they are quick [ zombies] @closing either way I 2alk away depressed 9\10 times. Now when they do decide and help you they know what they are talking about and are helpful if you ask they are not volunteering anything more than here is your prescription sign there and total then here is recite and turn and walk off. Once again I would still recommend this pharmacy I believe they are are compitent in there jobs just an experience you would have to see in person almost comical I have discussed with other customers in line and family members so I'm not alone in my beliefs...
Read moreAt shortly after noon on a Friday, the customer service couldn't have been worse! Experienced 2 coupons that were not accepted at self-checkout. In spite of the machine blinking and beeping that someone would be with us shortly, almost 10 minutes went by before I caught the attention of a guy bringing in carts and asked him to get someone. It appeared only 2 regular checkout lanes were open. One had the clerk and someone bagging groceries. When they got done, they went to the office. Eventually the one that was bagging came down to the self-check. (By that time two machines were flashing and beeping) When she arrived I let her know that we had been standing there 10 minutes. Instead of apologizing, she laughed. I let her know it WASN"T FUNNY! Unfortunately, her employee card wasn't working and she couldn't help us. She called for her manager, the other gal who had gone to the office, and told us it would be a few minutes because she had gone to the restroom. At about 15 minutes, she finally showed up and, after several attempts, finally got both coupons applied with an override. No apology. This Winn Dixie used to be our main grocery store. I can only say they've made a lot of changes, but few of them have been good. Though I still like the specials, we'll probably be visiting other stores. Sad, because this Winn Dixie is closest...
