Best brewery north of the Mason-Dixon… and it’s not even close. I don’t even really like beer and I still come here. They got consistent bangers like the Crusher (IPA), Omen (Dark Ale) and Lando (English Mild Ale), but they also switch things up with all their styles. They have seasonal drinks, including seltzers and sours (if you’re reading this during the fall of 2023, get here while they have the hocus pocus sour… they rim the glass in deliciousness). If you’re not a fan of beer, they also have wine, Hartman’s canned cocktails and Black Bird Cider. There is also a Hen House Nashville truck outside and you can order food and eat in the bar. These boys be doing hella collabs! They also run all kinds of event specials. If you’re an F1 fan, this is the place to be, every race! Even if you’re not, come thru, it’s lit! The owners are also usually here bartending from time to time. They’re cool af, but their dad is cooler. Their bathrooms are a bit of a walk, but that just gives you time to contemplate the life choices you’re about to make… and they’re...

I’m leaving 5 stars for the owners who are always wonderful to talk to and are very knowledgeable in their craft. The beers are tasty and fairly priced. Every experience I had was great except this one time the bartender (some lady I haven’t seen since) was very rude to me when I ordered. I’m fairly new to craft beer and when I came in one day in early June 2023, I requested a light beer that was popular (not being familiar with any names or types of light beers they had on tap) she proceeded to tell me I “order like a child” and was dismissive for the rest of our encounter. This one interaction turned me off from Briar Brothers for several weeks but i finally stoped back in for another round. I strongly suggest the business train their staff to open up to the idea that some of their new customers may need a helping hand discovering the world of...

//UPDATE// I recently went back and have to say their beer has come a VERY long way. There was more variety and the quality was better as well. They had a Helles lager that was very good. Outdoor space could use some shade/umbrellas and the bathroom situation is still horrible but, they’ve managed to up their beer game significantly.

Original Post (2 stars): I really wanted to like this place but, it fell short. This is another brewery geared towards hazy beer drinkers and hop heads. There’s nothing outside that. The beers aren’t that good so your paying for the ambiance. The building is cool and it’s dog friendly and the outdoor space is nice but, that’s about it. There are only 2 shared bathrooms and you have to walk out of the brewery to use them. Maybe I’ll try them...

Went there for dinner and drinks as they have the Hen House there on Thursdays with a really good special. This is a review about the brewery, though not the food. I’ve been there twice so far and have tried a few different drinks and they were all solid. Overall I wouldn’t say I’m a huge hard seltzer fan but I really love the cream soda one that they had on rotation at the time. Love me a cream soda, and it tastes so much like one, but with alcohol! In terms of beers, I tried the fruit sour beers called punchbowl, which had a couple varieties as well. If you’re into craft brews and maybe want to try something different with hard seltzers as well, I’d recommend giving them a visit. The staff is great and will let you try something before you buy the full size as well.

True Buffalo gem. It's a bit tucked away but the building itself is phenomenal with so much history. Brewery has an indoor and outdoor area that has ample seating. I tried one of their IPAs (Crusher) and their Mexican Lager, both were amazing. They also appear to have a beer and food deal with a food truck ($15 for chicken sandwich, side and a pint). Beers are actually priced lower than a lot of other breweries I have gone to as well. To top it off, they are dog friendly as long as your dog is behaved! Will be back again soon.

The space is exceptional and truly unique in the Buffalo brewery scene. I’m not a craft beer drinker but every one of their house brewed seltzers I’ve tried has been delicious (there are usually 2 on tap at a time in my experience). The sandwich and fries deal from the partnered Hen House food truck was excellent. Service is always great and even our 3 month old puppy enjoys his complimentary dog treat and water (and playing with the other canine customers). Highly recommend!
