We booked the vip tour. It was an experience, but it improved the experience 100%
We got to see the backstage and get off the trolley with AC. Stocked with as much water as you could drink.
We were given access to many backstage areas you don't see. The chance to hop off and explore the sets. Take pictures on movie magic sets. See a tiny bit of the storehouse of props that fill in a scene. Everything and everything needed to create a home, an office, a mummy movie .
They prepared a beautiful buffet for lunch .I could find anything to be negative about the entire day.

Given the cost of renting, shipping, and returning, would it not just make more sense to purchase used furniture online and at flea markets and donate it afterward?
Nevertheless, as a tourist destination, this sure makes for a fun...
Read moreThis is a pretty amazing place. From ET to King Kong to the latest movies. Props used for Universal movies are stored here. Mostly mundane but some very interesting artifacts. Gives you the sense of detail that movies go through to make the movie as realistic as possible. This of course is actually a working Warehouse so set designers actively tag the furniture that they would want for upcoming movies. Worth the trip....
