TWICE I went to the Butler store online and ordered one terracotta "strawberry jar" (aka herb pot). Both times they showed (2) were in stock, so I paid and was going to pick it up. But TWICE they were actually out of stock.
Their customer service sux, too:
The first time, I received an email stating they were refunding me (that's when I re-ordered again approx. 4 days later). The second time I ordered I called the store just to be sure that they were open and I could pick it up. The employee who answered the phone couldn't even look up my order! ??? She said that the owner receives all the orders and that he wasn't in the store that day (a Saturday). She took my phone number and said that he'd give me a call on Monday. Monday came and went. No phone call, NO email or text about anything. Three/four days later, I went to check on my order. I still had the same window open on my PC, so when I refreshed the page, I saw it was cancelled AGAIN (out of stock). I'm just hoping that I see a credit on my CC statement soon.
They've either got to be living under a rock with no POS service (that's point of sale - not piece of #@*+), OR they're not taking inventory. The least I would have expected was an email apologizing for being out of stock (or text, or phone call) and telling me that they'd call me FIRST when/if it was available. What a waste of time. Ended up getting one at The Home Depot, although I tried to...
