I love the annual watermelon eating contest, I do feel like they need to have some set rules about how they judge. Two years ago the guy who typically wins (Chris Z) ate completely down the the rine on 1 hole peice and started his second peice. I ate about 3/4 of two peices. He won, because he ate down the the rine. (Sounded fair to me) This year he ate down to the rine on two peices, as did I. But the person who won ate about 1/3 of each peice. I’m not trying to sound like a sore loser, but I ate down further than before because of what happened two years ago. I just hope the judges have clearer rules and they share them. Read moreThe Farm Show was great. 10$ to get in per person. There were rides for kids. The animals were just as good. The food was great, with a variety of hamburgers, to egg roll and fried rice , to John the Greek and his awesome Jyros, plenty of lemonade stands with 3$ refills, Boy scouts selling 1$ water, Fairground Market had a building with chairs and tables and the food was awesome. The Demolition Derby was great fun to watch and mother nature decided to join in and rain so the derby was extra exciting for all to watch with the mud being flung around. Haha. Yes it can get pricey at the farm show but its well spent to see the kids and adults having...
