I went to the Medical Arts Pharmacy to get my shingles vaccination. The Pharmacist, Evan McDonald, saw me right away and there was a private area where he could consult with me. He answered all my questions and explained the whole background of how shingles can be dormant in our system and how it can affect a person. The information was so helpful and I really felt empowered to know more about shingles. I knew it was very painful and many people I know had a really terrible experience when they had it. The shot didn't hurt and I had no side effects. Evan explained to me the importance of getting the 2nd vaccine during the correct time window so it would be most helpful in preventing me from getting it. I was very impressed.
