I bought a new stove from Steeles and when I opened the box the stove was dented in multiple spots. I called Steeles and was told to email their service department. They were quick to respond, but I was told all they could do was give me a $50 refund and I would need to go through whirlpool for the warranty claim. I called the service department to see if I could get a replacement stove or atleast work with them directly instead of whirlpool since it was a brand new unused stove. I was told a manager would call me back at some point. I heard back 2 days later and I was told I could get the $50 refund and they would order the replacement panels for me. While not ideal it was atleast better than just being sent the link to whirlpool.com like I had gotten via email. I chose Steeles so I could support a local family business instead of a large corporation, yet I feel like I'm dealing with people who do not care about the customers or their products at all. They were not much help. I got in contact with the manufacturer and they told me if I would have gotten ahold of them first they would have had a new freezer here within 5 days.
