Great donuts -and the old man running it does a great job - all his hard work though goes to waste with his daughter running the front - she has the worst customer service skills and needs to go find something else to do for a living cuz she obviously hates her job. Never has someone been so rude to me about making an order for my kids classes and their teachers - she said she couldn’t fulfill my order of 8 dozen (3 for each class for my boys and 2 for the teachers/school staff) even though I’m staring at the 100s of donuts right in front of us , as he’s bringing tray after tray ! We went early when they opened to be sure to get enough for their classes , to be turned away because the order was more than 3 dozen she said she can’t do it why didn’t I call. Well- I did call- tried calling day before no answer, called in the morning, no answer. So lady - go find something else to do instead of being in a business turning down paying customers- & we always leave a good tip on top so to be treated that way today - I won’t ever go back there - better luck trying the new place uptown don’t waste time here unless you’re okay with being...
Read moreAmazing donut shop! Even with a long line it moves so fast you're never waiting longer than a minute or two to order after entering. Donuts are fresh and really great prices (today I got chocolate glazed, maple bar and cinnamon roll for $3.75) They also do bread but I haven't tried that yet. If this was on door dash or they delivered I would be getting this nearly every day. They are cash/checks only is the only major downside for me
Edit: changing to 4 stars because I have tried to get donuts so many times in the past month and have realized that they are closed on weekends (and I think also now mondays), and on random other days at times as well it seems like. Today I noticed they had a sign noting they were closed this Monday and Tuesday. But I have to drive all the way across town , hitting an ATM on the way, to even know if they are...
Read moreThe donuts are awesome!! But I agree, the lady at the cash register is very rude and sarcastic. It makes no sense, because if she owns the place, you'd think she'd treat her paying customers better. If someone else owns it, they should fire her because of her attitude! Comments like "Why don't parents give their kids cereal for breakfast" or "People should bring candy to school " (I was there to pick up an order for my kid's class), or "I'll give you the key, lock the door," are just not necessary. That was all in one day, and that happens every time we go there! I mean, why is she so pissed that people are there to buy donuts?!? That's what they sell!! I want to say something to her, but honestly she makes me nervous, I just get what I am there to get and get the hell out!...
