Just beyond our stomping ground of Clarksville, TN there is a cute little town called Cadiz, KY. Our team recently visited Cadiz and found the cutest store called The Persnickety Pig. Inside were several rooms filled wall to wall with home decor, gifts, furniture, clothing, faux floral, table top decorations, meat from local farms, gourmet food and so much more.
This store is owned by three lovely ladies, all with personalities as BIG as the cute piggy in front. Mallory, Clara Beth and Jessica opened the store 2 years ago.
Previously known as Broadbent Food and Gifts, a staple in Cadiz for over 32 years, the The Persnickety Pig has kept the building filled with life and laughter.
Inside feels like an eclectic wonderland with unique items from all over the country. One thing we immediately noticed was the friendliness of the staff. When we walked in the door, it immediately felt like we were special guests. The team loves helping people take the fun energy from the store and bring it home to their own party, living room or personal style.
We can't wait to share more about this cute shop and encourage you to stop by and visit yourself. Make sure to tell them that...

Very nicely displayed, someone has good taste arranging the many items. Located close to I24 in Cadiz, and co-locayed in a Shell gas station that keeps windshield washing supplies available. Also included is a small food mart with coffee and the usual snacks and sodas etc.
The only negative on the Persnickety Pig is I thought the prices were very high.
Wheelchair friendly entrances and bathrooms, although the gift shop is a little tight to navigate.
The fuel here is cheaper than Illinois, but the prices get lower in south Tennessee and then northern Georgia.
Easy to get off and back on the highway, and not typically...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was passing thru Ky from Illinois on my way back to Florida. I stopped for a gas fillup and wandered into the pig to āļø it out. I have NEVER been treated so rudely by a business in my life. They were gossiping in the entry way and forced me to walk around d them and one female employee who was a tall thin brunette literally looked down her nose at me as if I were attempting to steal. GIRL, I could buy ANYTHING you have for sale in that overpriced gas station closet you call a store!!! So just calm down with your judgemental...
