It was great!! I went to see the new Dumbo movie and it was great! Good quality for the most part. The building itself though needs a thorough cleaning and organizing and restored throughout. The sound quality was amazing. You can feel the sound. The food tastes great. They have candy!! Sorry I love candy. But they have the boxes of candy. Like from the store you buy at. The popcorn is amazing. Salty and full of taste. The servants are nice. Prices are a tiny bit high but nothing a poor man couldn't afford(no offense). I have went here for years. I grew up and was raised in Cairo, Ga. I just had to leave a review bc the owner showed just how kind hearted he can be through a tough time of losing my job of a year and a half when I was the primary bread winner of my family. I came up with $14 in CHANGE to treat my man and children for fathers day to a good movie and show. He saw right through me and blessed us through our struggles... What a great owner and of course the history behind the theatre speaks for itself. I only rated this place a 3 because it's kinda run down inside. That being said the screen and the sound quality we're good. On top of that the tickets were only 6 dollars and so was the large popcorn. Lastly this place has survived since 1936 mostly unchanged. So it's rough to today's standards but I would go again.
