Worst experience Ive ever had. Bought a new battery there in 2018. Had nothing but trouble with it...it kept going dead. I took it back several times it left me stranded numerous times. They checked it out each time and said. It was fine. The last time it died on me I went there and Kelly told me she no longer did business with me as I had said before, i I wasnt coming back there . She said "I thought you said you were not coming back here..and I said" but the battery died on me. And she said ...we no longer are doing business with you." Then I left quietly. I felt humiliated..but went home and called around. The man in Calabash came out and looked at my battery and told me it was out of warranty. I took it to CarQuest in Shallotte NC and a lady named Donna called Interstates home office and found the battery was still under warranty and replaced mine with a free battery. She also Said that it had the wrong size battery in it put in by Napa at Calabash. I had had trouble all yesr with that battery...it going dead at grocery stores...friends houses..at home..always having to get a jump off from strangers.
Napa kept telling me the battery was fine. It may have been fine for a small car..but not my minivan. Everybody at Napa looked at it and said it was fine. Kelly said the thing that held it in was gone. so it was not under warranty. Nobody bothered to check the date on the battery except Donna...
Read moreI want to give John Frink the service manager for helping us out in a very scary time a huge thank you, we were on a family vacation in sunset beach and we took my girlfriends Honda Pilot to broadway on the beach we stopped at Callahans for fudge and some shopping, when we came out our battery was dead. My dads step mom is a local and came and gave us a jump start. I called Nappa in calabash and John answered, he said we have a battery for your car, so we head over there I walk in and he already had the battery ready for us, he even offered to replace it. I declined at first but then thought maybe just have him do it which was the best decision to make. He went out of his way to clean my battery terminals because they were full of corrosion he even cleaned the plastics around the engine bay after spraying the cleaner. He said good thing you didn’t do it yourself because if you did you could have snapped your battery terminals if they weren’t cleaned, this was around 4:30pm on Thursday so hurricane Ian was making its way there, he really did save us from something really bad happening and I can’t thank him enough for going out of his way to help us. Thank you John you...

My response to your comment back... guess you like showing everyone how incompetent you run your business so I will go into detail.
So.. calling a customer back and telling them you have "several" batteries instock before you go check is ignorant to me. You had the battery .. you didn't want to sell it to me. You had several..maybe you need to do some retraining? Like look for the part first..before returning the call.. so no I don't believe you made a mistake. Your attitude changed when I questioned the price when I called back. You don't care for northerners that came across clearly I was informed this is your normal attitude after I repeating my horrible experience by 2 other of your former northern customers. Be glad you got one star cause they wouldn't let me give you no stars. I promised you free advertising and I keep my word. Glad your poor customer service is humorous to you. Putting up that you had me on speaker phone entertaining speaks volumes of your business. Thank you for adding that in. Bless your heart
