Alex the store manager is a nightmare! I would not recommend going to rent a center in owosso, iv been a customer for over 10 years and they have always helped when needed back then. Now they won't work with u and constantly harass u even when u have already spoken to them. I miss jim the previous store manager, he always helped customers even when they were struggling to make payments He was the Best! They also changed there original agreement they will no longer accept if ur late on a payments, they want everything back. Alex is not a nice person, not professional at all. she will not work with u. I'm being told bc I was 2 days late for a payment I need to make the payment and return the item, when I went in there to get the item I did the $10 deal and that was it. It's not right, customers should have the opportunity to have flexible payments and help when needed. Iv always communicated with them via text especially when I'm working. I'm very upset that my money would go to waste over an item. I'm also being called a liar when they sent me a link on Feb 3rd, I didn't receive it till that Saturday. As listed for the $10 agreement u get 1 week up to (12 days) i haven't even had it a full week. I really wish people would actually commit to what is on the $10 deal. Instead being harassed them blowing ur phone up 24-7 over a payment that can't wait till u get payed. And I'm being told my hands are tied, when it hasn't been 7 days. We were told couldnāt deliver that day but would be the next day between 3-6pm so next day comes and we didnāt hear anything so we called the store. Spoke with Bri and she stated she told us next day which is not what she said. I asked for her manager . Jacob gets on the phone and I ask for it to be delivered that day he tells me under Michigan law you canāt change an employee work hours without others notice! I am a business owner and never heard this before. We agree on next day delivery but he says a payment is due and we paid the $10 special for the week and that was 2 days prior. Next day comes and they call wanting full 2wk payment before delivery. We stated will not pay until we had the furniture. I get home and call and speak to Jacob who states we are know longer going to do business with you and will full refund you. I asked him why and he stated our interaction was the reason. I stated thatās your right but you canāt ask for money and us not have product. I will never do business with them. Cld they please pick up what I had till I could afford it or cld they do a payment extension . I was told ok no problem that he had me. I was then told I was good for the month believing I had received a payment extension. Then I go back into my account to find my contracts had been rewritten against my acknowledgement and the price of my stuff doubled. This happen to me not once but twice and the first time was my fault I didn't catch it . This time I did catch it. How they kept it sly was they kept my payment amounts the same but changed the over all price . So that's how I didn't catch it the first round . Now looking at saved emails .
