I recently visited Arden Town Shopping Center in Sacramento, and I have to say, it’s an absolute gem! Nestled conveniently at the corner of Fair Oaks Boulevard and Watt Avenue, this place has everything you could want for a fantastic day out. I grabbed a crepe from Danielle’s Creperie, and it was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had—unique, flavorful, and served with a smile. The center itself is beautifully maintained, clean, and welcoming, with a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to linger. It’s clear the property managers take pride in keeping it looking top-notch. I also appreciated the little extras, like the gas station and bank right next door—talk about convenience! Parking can get a bit tricky during peak times, but honestly, it’s a small price to pay for such a great experience. I went here for the first time because I needed to use the Golden 1 ATM. Access to the center from Fair Oaks Blvd westbound took me down San Lucas Way, which is a narrow street, and at the time, very congested. Once I entered the center, parking was adequate, and there was no waiting for the ATM. I strongly recommend looking at Google Maps before you go here because it can be tricky once you are ready to leave. Both Watt Ave and Fair Oaks Blvd have a concrete median and fence barrier separating their directions of travel. So, exiting the center safely, with the least hassle, requires that you know where you want to go afterwards, and then you can take the best exit driveway based on your next destination. Not a very good experience at BJ's in the Arden Mall.The bartender started off good with a quick service of a drink. The pot stickers didn't take long to receive. However, the fried ones had such a thick and chewy won ton that it hurt the roof of my mouth. So, I ordered a mini Hawaiian pizza. Nice thick sliced ham and pieces of pineapple. The sauce was good.
