We feel very disappointed at the fact of harassment with calls not once or twice but over 7 times, including sending text, messages on messenger and inboxing on Facebook. We also ask for extension due to being out of work due to illness of not 1 person but 2 and didn't want to hear it. Would say one thing and do another. Had just came out of hospital and only one person working we were not debating weather or not we had to make the payment we becausewere just asking for extension because one person had spinal fracture in which is elderly with dementia and other was in hospital for congestive heart failure etc. Very discussed at the fact that after ask for extension two minutes later phones were locked in middle of phone call to medical specialist. We ended up calling again through phone number not our only used for emergency of elderly ask not to call back the number and still was after the fact of voluntarily surrendering our things. My husband called Carmen even stated we didn't owe that much so why the harrasments if we always pay! And still to this day they continue to call with harrasments even after we ask not to call no more since we have nothing to do with Rent A Center nor have anything belonging to them! So disgusted to the fact when truly needed help in which we never asked for extensions the true unprofessional sarcastic answer was Give me a payment you be ok. And when guys came to our home also being sarcastic and laughing at this fact. Very unprofessional and a bunch of lying mockers. Will never go back to Rent a Center nor refer anyone. Now I hope I don't get a call asking to explain why I put this experience up as they questioned us about someone in our family. STOP THEY CALLS AND HARRASMENTS OR I WILL CALL THE AUTHORITIES AND LAWYER! DONT NEED ANY MORE ON MY PLATE. YOU HAVE ALL YOUR THINGS! NOW...
   Read moreThis review is long overdue, and I never write reviews, but their service definitely deserves it. I had a house fire, where I lost everything. Carmen, the manager of the store, was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, compassionate, and did everything she could to get things rolling so that we would have furniture. She offered to do whatever she could, as things had to go through the insurance company. She went above and beyond being able to quick pull together furniture, especially beds and bedroom sets for my children, so they would have the best possible set up, within the budget. She showed so much compassion, heart, and care, in making sure they had whatever they needed and stated she wanted them to feel comfortable in their bedrooms, after them losing everything. She was focus on my children, and having them be happy after all this. All that meant so much to me. She worked hard to stay within our limited budget, working overtime to make everything work, coordinating everything, and then get everything delivered as soon as possible to our new rental home. Her staff were friendly, kind, and worked hard setting everything up, so that our rental would be complete and feel like "home" for my children, upon their arrival. Going through this tough time, and the level of care, compassionate, and effort that they all showed, especially Carmen, meant the world to me. I can't thank them, and especially Carmen, enough. They are wonderful people who cared about making sure someone else's children felt safe, comfortable, and "whole" in their temporary home, after a devastating incident- that's priceless and they deserve to be commended for their big hearts and amazingly hard work. I owe less than 200 buck on a TV I already paid over 700 bucks for already! Funny how electricity bills, cable bills, and phone companies are giving a breaks but not this place!
