Calverton Shopping Center — Local services in Calverton

I find this to be an odd shopping center. It's positioned at the junction between US95 and MD Rte 212 (Powder Mill Road). It should be busy quite more than it appears but that's my gain! There is a CVS, Giant, and Bank as well as a Police Station and Fast Food via McDonalds. During the week it's truant teens hanging in the parking lot and on the weekend older folks that look like they're experiencing hard times. Neither population is problematic but I would recommend using the stores here during the day. Everyone is polite and customer...

This shopping center was once nice, clean and convenient. It's now dirty, filled with people that throw their trash on the ground, spit wherever they feel like and it's Like this all around the center..it's nasty. The Giant store has some real nice male employees, and very few female employees that will even greet you. They never smile at you, much less say thanks for shopping with us, etc... Wish theywould level this shopping center and make it a park...but that also would very soon be...

This is about the new liquor store there, when I walked in there was no one in the lottery line. I'm like kool, I'll be in and out, a man was there and I waited for him to ask me what I wanted.
