I finally got to shop at Bookish today and I can easily say it was one of the highlights of my day. The owner is an incredible woman, with a fun and friendly personality. We ended up chatting for awhile and it was delightful to be able to just enjoy my time looking at her (incredible) vinyl sticker display while talking about things of the past. The bookstore itself is WONDERFUL for young children, YA, and some NA. She even has a graphic novel section! I also noticed she had a craft table set up for families to make a Christmas ornament or just sit to read for awhile. Overall it’s a cute and cozy store. I’m absolutely excited to come back and my bibliophile heart is so happy to finally have a bookstore...

I’m so excited your new space has had its soft opening! The store is already so immediately warm and charming. My daughter and I visited today. The location next to the lake is perfect. Restroom and cafe easily accessible. Plenty of seating and cozy nooks for anyone who wants to come in and read, decompress, play with their little one, soak up the fresh air in the outside area. Enchanting wallpaper and decor. So much natural light in the front room. A fun food/beverage menu for both kids and adults. Truly something for any reader.
