If you are reading a review of a paper retailer... I like you. Paper Source makes an effort to influence your feelings about using various forms of pulped media upon which to add ink, carbon, charcoal, pastel pigment, or paint to convey text or images to a fairly limited and specific audience. In this store, it becomes clear the message I need to send is too good for an email or plain paper stock. But then I hesitate and think that maybe my message isn't that great but by imprinting it on a rough-hewn, tangible pressing with visible natural fibers- the recipient will be moved. I prefer a certain type of personalized hand-writing which I cannot seem to produce. I find myself wishing I could dash off a note of intensity and need with a script that says, "I must communicate with you so urgently and with import that I can barely manage to spare the moments needed to close my o's... and I'm writing it on this paper because I love you." Don't settle for crummy paper if you've got something worth writing. Unless all you have is something like a napkin or a scrap of receipt and using it shows that if you don't express yourself immediately you will just die. For printer-stock... it's about being formal and respecting that you're probably softening some lousy news... "Open 11-5 or by appointment only. Closed Sunday and Monday." If reading this matters to the reader, he's irritated. But in the back of his mind he's saying, "But... at least the bad news came on fine paper-stock... and I...

They have never failed me when I needed a last minute cute but individual gift - from a shoe shine kit for my husband, to flamingo or sugar skull themed items for my mom and bf respectively. There is a little ramp that takes you to the other side of the store where you can do all of your custom stationery and invitation orders or DIY. Decent selection of tasteful, fun, seasonal novelty gifts. Nice selection of greeting cards that you aren't going to find other places. What they lack is a true scrapbooking section.
