I am so disappointed. Went in Monday and they did not have my tire size. That was fine. I made an appointment and went back in. I was charged way more then what I was quoted. I waited one hour and 45 minutes for an oil change and 2 tires put on. My lights are all on now in my car. I went back in to tell the man and he told me to ride it for 10 minutes and it will go out by itself. Obviously he told me this because it was closing time. I left a message for a manager to call me. I will be disputing the charges if that do not get a call back. To be continued… Update: Cory is a very respectful and nice man that has really been trying to help. They agreed to refund some of the hidden fees and much higher prices I was quoted from Stephane. Unfortunately my husband is driving to Florida and noticed the car is profusely draining oil. He is carrying a trailer and there is oil in that. I spoke with Cory and he is contacting the higher ups. I spoke to Stephanie who really does not deserve her job. She is definitely a generation that will not be accountable. I think I need to dispute this on my credit card. Update. I got a refund from my bank because I took the car to another mechanic. All the oil leaked out of my car because I had the wrong filter. Tires were never balanced. I emailed the head office, called and texted. Never got a response from anyone. Very disappointed in their ethics.I guess you can say I was...
Read moreI could not be more disappointed in the quality of the work done at Big O in Camdenton. The employees are very friendly, but their work is poor.
On 6/8/20 we took it in for a defective tire, which they replaced for free. The van had a terrible steering wheel shake and they balanced all 4 tires when they replaced the one, but when I left, the shake was worse than ever. I called to verify that they had balanced all 4 tires and they said they did.
Thinking something was wrong with our tie rods, we made an appt with our mechanic for 6/17/20. He later called us saying that the front tires were totally out of balance ("front tires way out of balance" is what he wrote on the invoice). $30 later and 24 hours without our car and it now drives beautifully. That is $30 we should not have had to spend and 24 hours we should not have had to be without a vehicle if Big O had done the job correctly.
Clearly the employees need to be better trained since we had the tires balanced but they were not balanced properly - in fact they were made worse. When I told our mechanic that we had just gotten them balanced he said, "Somebody messed up."
I'm very disappointed in the quality of work done at Big O and at this point I do not plan to buy tires there again. What's the point of the free rotate and balance if they don't know how to do...
Read moreMade an appointment request online for an oil change and new tire installation and the appointment was accepted. When I arrived he said he didn't have time for the oil change and acted like it was an inconvenience but then I guess he changed his mind. Then he asked if I wanted an alignment and I asked for it to be checked. When I checked out I had a coupon for a free alignment check and it also says "free alignment check" in their window but I was charged $100 for the alignment. They still made me pay for it even though it was a misunderstanding on their part since the service was already performed on the vehicle. This is very upsetting because I would not have agreed to pay that much for an alignment had I known how much it was and I feel as if I was tricked into paying for it. He said if I would have brought the coupon in when I dropped my car off then it wouldn't have been a problem but that was never a requirement before in my 8 years of taking my vehicle there to get serviced. They also did not call me when my car was ready. Unfortunely their new bait and switch tactics are very unfriendly, deceptive, and they are...
