AutoZone Auto Parts — Local services in Camp Verde

WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY. On Labor Day 9/6/21, I was stranded at the Chevron Station at Hwy 260 & I-17, my diesel truck has two batteries and both of them went bad and my truck would not start after fueling up, oh and I was towing a trailer also.

I called AAA which I had and they said that there wasn't anyone in the area that could bring me a set of batteries. I called Autozone in Camp Verde, asked them if they delivered batteries, and they said no. I told them my situation, and within 15 minutes I had two new batteries, the one gentleman drove them over (which I forget his name but thank you) took my old batteries and gave me credit for them. I offered him a tip and he declined, asked to leave a review, here you go guys.

Thank you for going way above and beyond. I was desperate for two batteries to get home and they took care of me and my wife. I am truly thankful, you guys are awesome for coming to the rescue on...

I was traveling with my boat from Lake Powell back to Phoenix. I was able to see some sparks and saw that the dust cap on the wheel had exited the wheel. I was able to pull off on General Crook trail and saw there was an Auto Zone only 1.5 miles down the road. I was able to limp the trailer to their parking lot and was able to get the bearings I needed in at 7:30AM the next morning. They were all very helpful in allowing me to overnight in my truck while waiting for parts. They also came out and checked on me during the night. I really appreciated them for helping. I do also love that they are only about 75 feet away from an O'Reilly's Parts place who had the other bearing. They both worked as a team and not as competitors. Oh my goodness! I was so stressed and scared! My daughter and I and her 3 young children were going camping, pulled into a gas station and when we started the truck backup it didn't start.. It was very hot outside.. After asking around it looked as if it may be the battery. I called AutoZone and Bill C. came right to the gas station with a battery & tools, replaced the battery and the truck still did not start.. (It was the starter). But Bill put back our battery and credited my account the charge of the battery and wouldn't even take a tip for coming out to help. I believe he and AutoZone went above and beyond.
