We came up from the Phoenix area on Sunday March 6th. Met with Cliff and took a great tour of the models and lots. He was very kind and spent quite a bit of time with my husband and I. After the first visit we knew this would be the place for us. They have an unusual way of sales, its a list process. We found a few lots that we loved but of course were put on the list, sometimes down at 4th or 5th. Cliff showed us a home that had just arrived and we would be 3rd on the list for that one. I knew when I saw the kitchen (white cabinets) it would be for me. We put our name on a couple of lots that were down the road a ways that we would definately be 1st, we were not in any hurry. We revisited again this past Sunday and met with Megan, she was wonderful as well. Great news, the first name on the home never returned their call and the second name had already made a purchase elsewhere. The white cabinets Cavco was ours. We are now in escrow, the home is not expected to be ready until mid summer but that is fine with us. I guess that home was meant to be for us. From the moment you walk into their clubhouse/community center you are made to feel welcome by everyone. The views there are astounding from everywhere and the pool area is stunning. There is a workout area, pickle ball courts and a nice fenced in dog park. I apologize for the long review but we are very excited and cannot wait to be homeowners in Verde...
Read moreOur family temporarily rented here for a year while we sold and purchased a home. Several issues with the home. Leaning home which caused cracked walls which leaked when rain fell, a buckled window glass due to the leaning, a dead tree in the front yard, a missing shelf in the refrigerator, a front door that would not shut properly. It took over 6 months and several emails just to get the shelf for the refrigerator; on several occasions we reported the leaning crack, leak issues and they were never fixed. HVAC system was costing us $300 month until we complained enough and they cleaned the ducting which ended up saving us $100 month. The landscaper came and planted a new, dead tree. Not a real friendly environment if you have kids; although they advertise a family friendly environment, its not the case in our experience. More of a snow bird retirement community. Lastly, when we moved in the unit was not clean at all; when we moved out we cleaned the place yet they still kept our cleaning deposit. Poor quality homes, not a warm friendly environment for a family... Could not wait to get...
Read moreWe needed a place in Camp Verde. I have over 700 credit, 100 X financial requirements, exhibited 2 years plus perfect payment history paying over $14,000.00 per month. I’ve leased, financed, purchased with the top real estate and financial institutions for more then forty years; unblemished. These folks questioning me about nonsense and asking for more personal info. They send your financials over unsecured emails. At that point I declined to send more very personal records and rented a private home closer to where I need to, and on two acres. This was handled by the largest rental firm in the area. I was promptly approved. I cosign for my kids’ apts, autos, my own deals, and always sailed through. Most importantly I’ve never had an issue in four decades. These people were impossible about a $2050.00 rental. Very...
