SHOP 'n SAVE — Local services in Canonsburg

If you are able to shop anywhere else, do it. STAY AWAY FROM THE BAKED GOODS, PRODUCE AND DELI. They are awful. Everything from the bakery is frozen, put out as needed and dry as a bone. The produce won't last you more than a couple days, so you know it's old by the time you buy it. And the deli doesn't know how to cut anything, especially cheese. It's either so thin you can't separate it or so thick it's unappetizing. Customer satisfaction means nothing to these people. And if the managers do the ordering, then they must have learned retail from a comic book. If they are out of items because they sell fast, they order the same amount week in and week out and keep shelves stocked with items that never move. The customer has to "wait for the truck" later this week to get what they want here. And it's happened to me on the same items over and over. Hideous management.

But the worse are the women who work there. Not the young people, the bitter, annoyed, entitled, disgusted women who consider customers annoyances. Who will turn and answer another employees question before yours, if they acknowledge you at all. Most of the older employees must be relatives of Duritza's, otherwise I don't understand what type of business owners would put up with the ignorance from employees that these people do. Shop 'n Save is maintaining their horrible rating for employees for myself and for the neighborhood. I have never known such rude people! Yesterday I was looking for sliced watermelon as a shopper I'm not going to take the first one I look around I am not paid to put everything back! The lady who was working produce verbally made sure that I understood that she was upset that I did not put things back. Then I go to meats, The man stocking beef took his good old time while I waited to make a selection for a filet mignon which is the highest price meat probably in the display. Then he left his cart as he stood and admired his work knowing I was standing behind him waiting. And then of course I get to self check out where Marsha is. She is a hateful woman. She seemingly hates her job I had bought two bakery donuts accidentally Entered a dozen when I asked her to fix it venom came off of her face. Shop 'n Save is really the only place in the area for groceries without driving. The store itself is good, mostly clean, mostly stocked during this unprecedented time. But the employees almost without fail are rude and awful to their shoppers! And I am not the only one who feels like this I live in Canonsburg and I have friends in Canonsburg and we talk. Worst grocery store for service. Visited Friday night at 7:30 pm. Service desk is already closed. Tried to use ladies room, was also closed, and not for cleaning. Went to get in line at around 8:15 to check out. Went to registers, only 2 open with about 6 people in line at each register. I ask if they can cll up someone else, and was told there was no one else working in store, even no one to help bag. After I was told no, and older lady who was bagging on 1 register, wet to office and got a till. Came and opened up 3rd register. Not with a nice attitude. . 2 ladies got in line before us, they has been waiting when we got to the register area. She waiting on the first lady, they a couple pulled their cart to in front of the register waiting at a broken register. Did not see her waiting, and what register was broken? Only 2 were open.? I know you are the only grocery in town, but that is not how to run a business on a FRIDAY NIGHT, after everyone gets paid!! I will drive to Washington for better service.
