Harassed by the long haired older woman and the young guy at the register, they called the cops on us threatening to throw us out demanding we wear masks. I nicely explained by Texas State Law they could not force us to wear them. She yelled us to get out of the store. I have shopped at Goodwill for years and have never been treated so disrespected in any store I have visited. I certainly hope these two employees are fired for threatening customers.

I had a great time shopping here! Not sure why all the bad reviews, the employees were kind and helpful. The store was clean and well organized. Found some really cool stuff for my new home! Can’t wait to come back with my honey!

6-19-20 just when I thought a business couldn't be run any worse I was once again proven wrong. In order to enter the store you must have a mask, if you don't have your own you can buy one from Goodwill for $3.18. Before I was asked to leave, I asked several questions from the door way maintaining a 30 foot social distancing. The staff had no idea what was available nor did they appear to have a handle on resale transactions. This transaction could have been handled as a curb side sale as a win win. Instead I went to another location who made $25. Instead of the $3.18 that was lost on the sale of a mask. 5-18-20 I called the Canton store, they are now receiving donations. I can now gather up what items I haven't found a place for during the closer. Didn't realize how much can be accomplished during a pandemic. I think we have cleaned out every closet and storage area in the house. Regardless of my unflattering comments of past posts, I am a big fan of the Goodwill program. During our travels, when time permits we stop at an occasional Goodwill and shop. It's just a fun activity for my wife and I to search for unique items at an affordable price.

This is a repost from about 3 weeks ago, Not taking donations today.... I was told it's because they are not taking things from peoples homes due to the possibility of catching the virus. Okay........ are they going to continue this practice from now on? I've got news for Goodwill, we have viruses present everyday of every year, way to many to name. The flu killed sixty thounsand last year, in 1957 the flu killed over one hundred thousand. Take the time to read about the polio virus that haunted this country for the first half of the 20th century. Society was not forced to close, and yes it killed elderly people as well as my 15 year old uncle. On a normal day you take in items from places you have no idea where it came from. I'm sure you get items donated covered in "things" that would normally turn your stomach, literally. Wipe them down, wash your hands, and let's get back to normal life, viruses and all. People are still in need more than ever, more especially during this time of high...

Will not sale items without tags. Sometimes tags fall off, or people remove them. Takes 24-48hours to "process in the back" to get a new tag. "You can come back after that" 🙄 I left my entire purchase behind, because one item did not have a tag, and they didn't want to slap a tag on it. There is people who travel through this town on vacation. Especially during First Monday. When are they gonna have time to turn around and go back? Simple. They won't. You are literally better off taking a sticker off of something else, and sticking it on that untag item yourself. Since they wont do it, because of policy. It takes 5mins to walk in the back, and ask who ever is pricing "Hey how much on this?!" This Goodwill doesn't do it. Very stubborn, and they don't back down. Should have known before I walked in here. No wonder it's...

Goodwill policy is that the color of the week tag includes EVERYTHING in store marked with the color of the week is 50% off. Why does the Goodwill in Canton TX only gives you 25% off and only on clothing with the color tag of the week. The CEO needs to look into why this particular GW makes their on policy and make the change and fire the employees that does this to the customers. This store always ask if you will round up to help support the cause . Gw makes a fortune off of free donation and they still ask for more fm the customer, Why? Popular jeans have jumped up $10 dollars more in a werks time. Popular jeans were $14.99 now they're $25.00. WHY? I really love shopping at GW but this store is getting outrageous with their prices and not following policy the...
