Burger King – Canton, TX: Where You Rule… Over a Very Long Wait
If patience is a virtue, then eating at the Canton Burger King will make you a saint. This place doesn’t just serve burgers—it serves life lessons in waiting, perseverance, and questioning your own decisions.
I pulled into the drive-thru thinking I’d “Have It My Way.” Turns out, their way involves a solid 20-minute wait, a broken speaker, and a deep reflection on whether I really needed this Whopper in the first place. The line moved slower than a toddler putting on shoes. I could have driven to another town, raised my own cattle, and hand-crafted a flame-grilled masterpiece before this BK got my order out.
Finally, I got to the window. The poor employee looked like they had seen some things—like they’d been locked in an epic battle with the frozen fry machine all day. I paid, received a halfhearted “Thank you,” and was handed a bag that was surprisingly light for what I ordered. Checked inside—no fries. Of course. Went back through the drive-thru (again) and waited another eternity for my missing food.
Now, I will give them this—the Whopper was good. Flame-grilled perfection, just like the commercials promise. But by the time I got it, I felt like I’d been on a pilgrimage to earn it. That burger wasn’t just a meal, it was a journey.
So, if you’ve got time to kill and a craving for BK, this place will deliver… eventually. Just be prepared to commit. Maybe bring a snack for the wait—ironically, from another...
Read moreWe stopped by this location one evening after a long, exhausting day of working on our property. Despite it being close to closing time, we were warmly welcomed and served without hesitation. We honestly weren’t expecting much, but to our surprise, the food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious—especially after such a long day. I hadn’t had Burger King in years, and this visit completely exceeded my expectations.
Joseph and the young lady working that night were incredibly kind and professional. They never made us feel rushed, even though we chose to dine in so close to closing. We asked if they could make the nuggets spicy, and Joseph responded with a cheerful “no problem.” When he brought them out, we were blown away—perfectly crunchy and coated in a flavorful spicy glaze. So good!
We enjoyed the experience so much that we returned two days later—and once again, everything was fantastic. The food was just as amazing, and the lobby and restrooms were impressively clean. A special shoutout to Joseph and the same sweet young lady (sorry we didn’t catch your name) for their consistent hospitality.
Hands down, this is the best Burger King location we’ve ever visited. Thank you for making our...
Read moreThis has to be the worst customer service ever for a fast food company. The employees look like they didn't want to be bothered with doing their job. Approximately 10 minutes later and food was still not ready. I only saw 1 staff member actually actually trying to do anything remotely considered work. This is the Burger King on hwy 243 next to the Walmart Murphy's in Canton TX. No employee seemed to care if we (the first vehicle in line) had their order filled or not. And then there were several other people waiting in line behind us also waiting. After 10 minutes of nothing I was tired of waiting. I went inside and stood there at the counter in the waiting for anyone to acknowledge my presence, to no avail. I finally got the attention of an employee and had to ask her if there were any managers present and the blonde girl stated that she in fact was a manager. After all this time waiting for them to fill our order, and the lack of anything from anyone in the building, I asked for my money to be refunded and even that seemed to be a hard thing from any staff to accomplish. Finally after all that I was refunded the money back on the card. I will not be back to this...
