The Marshalls/HomeGoods itself is decent but the manager is not not. The manager at the Canton Marshalls & HomeGoods is very very uncooperative, not CUSTOMER SERVICE friendly at all. Corporate needs to send "secret shoppers to him to review his performance he definitely needs to be terminated. I called and asked for him to check for an item i saw last week in HomeGoods on clearance...gave a complete product description, price, color and exactly where it was located. he refused to check and said "no we don't have anything "like that" in this store". He refused to check! I have been shopping at Marshalls/TJMaxx/HomeGoods since the eighties and this is the FIRST TIME I've experienced this type of service from a Store Manager. I went to the Marshalls in Canton to do some last minute Christmas shopping and I came across a guy name Scott who I ask a question regarding some pajamas for little girls. He seemed to be very irritated, rude and unprofessional. Shortly after he began to follow me around the store as if I was going to steal something. I went to the registers to ask for a manager and they stated he was it. I was extremely disappointed to witness this kind of behavior coming from management. Lack of customer service. Simply people who work their especially the supervisor shifts or manager don't care much about customers and that is reflected on the rest of the employees. I simply went to return a pair of shoes that I bought last week and the least to be said that the person who was helping and her supervisor that she consulted was less than competent and helpful. They treated us like we were trying to take advantage of the system!!!
