I recently purchased a 4 piece living room set from jubilee furniture for $4,400.00. We opted for the Italian leather material. The order to delivery time took 3 months. The furniture looked as advertised. The first problem we had was the one of the furniture pieces(coffee table) a $500.00 add on was damaged in shipping. We notified Jubilee furniture and we're told that they will look into the matter. The 2nd issue was the all the furniture was very hard when sitting on them. I mean there was virtually no give in the seat cushion. The lumbar cushion also was so firm when you sat on the furniture is feels like you are about to slip off the furniture. We notified jubilee furniture regarding the comfort quality. We also noticed that the legs or platforms on the furniture was nothing more than painted 5 inch of 2x4 s. The power foot rests that extend Do not reach parallel to the seat cushion. I can only assume the actuator they speced was not long enough. These nice looking furniture Is only that nice looking . So far Jubilee furniture had offered 199 dollars for the damage coffee table. Jubilee furniture had reached out to the manufacturer the Mfg claims that that's how the furniture was designed to be. I'm very disappointed as of now. I'm hoping for a resolution from both Jubilee furniture and the manufacturer.I will keep you posted if I need to go any further legally with this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place can be "hit-or-miss" because the prices can be somewhat outrageous, everything has been going up... but if you have the time to really look for the deals, they are there. I think maybe the pricing is done by multiple people, and somebody that works there thinks certain items are worth waaaaaaay more than they actually are. You can find furniture that is destroyed with holes and stains for $300 or you can find nice, well-preserved furniture for $20, kind of like most resale stores as of lately. For whatever reason, sometimes the prices are higher than CORT furniture, which is why I haven't been visiting as frequently. The volunteers there are mostly very helpful and friendly. Ive been helped by a woman named Karen recently and she was great at helping me locate specific types of furniture that I had been looking for and made me feel very comfortable while shopping. She...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI don't know what some of the other reviews are talking about because I think Jubilee has some great stuff. Yes, there's some furniture inside that should probably have been thrown up but most of it is in good to great condition and the prices are honestly some of the best that I've seen from used furniture stores.
There were several things I would've been open to take home with me if I was looking to furnish multiple rooms. I didn't see any couches or chairs that had gigantic stains. I didn't see leather furniture that was ripped to shreds. And most of all I didn't smell that thrift store smell that OTHER stores have. The piece of furniture I brought home didn't smell at all and for the vintage and rarity of it I feel like I got the deal of the century.
