I had a 12:45 appointment...first time at the salon. I waited 15 minutes and someone came to me and said that the person who was cutting my hair was running behind and she could cut it. I said thanks but I would rather wait. She then said that the person who was originally going to cut my hair could cut it if I waited but she would have to blow dry it. Not sure why except that they close at 2 and I guess she didn't want to stay later...not my fault you ran behind. I did not stay and the worst part is that I did not even get an apology. Absolutely awful customer service. I would definitely not recommend Oak & Ivy!!!!

I have responded to these people several times and just removed my responses because there is no point with people like this. I will just tell you that they totally twisted the truth. They are rude and unkind. If you want to have a nice experience getting your hair done I suggest you find somewhere else. You reap what you sow and what this salon has done is so wrong, so mean...

After trying to schedule an appointment for a second time ( the first time the receptionist claimed I never had one ) I went in for my appointment with Michelle. She sat me down in her chair looked at me with no introduction and said “ all over color “ ? I explained what I wanted - as I did to Jessica the receptionist when I made the appointment. Highlights and an all over color . Being new to the area I hadn’t been able to find anyone in awhile to cut or color my hair. She looked at me and the picture I had for her and stated “ oh I don’t have time for that !”

She brought me back to the front desk and tried to reschedule me . Needless to say I’ll never be back . Michelle has no people skills and this salon seems unable to schedule appointments or keep clients happy as no one else was able...

The salon is beautiful with a great atmosphere and friendly staff!! I had been stagnant with my stylist and hair for a while and was looking for a new stylist. Fate introduced me to Shelly Patino one night and after speaking with her I called and booked an appointment. It was a wonderful experience from walking in the door to sitting at the color bar then seeing my hair look the best it has looked in a long time!! Shelly did not disappoint, addressed all the issues I have been experiencing without my having to tell her, let me know along the way what she was doing and why and I was absolutely thrilled with my hair!!
