CitiCentre Plaza — Local services in Carroll

Nice "clean" shopping area. Nice hours: 24/7 except on Christmas Day/close early. Nice varieties, good selection, friendly staff. Has Pharmacy/Restaurant/Liquor Store.

Reason I don't give 5 stars: ☆Prices are higher than other grocery stores in town. ☆Vast amount of sales are only offered 2 days!! Even though this store is open 24/7!!! WHY? SALES NEED TO RUN "WEEKLY"! ☆BANKING was removed, because the one Bank said to hard to man staff for a earnings & weekends. There are @ least 3 more Banks + Credit Unions in this town of 1,100 population. GET ANOTHER BANK IN THERE!! Instead,---they chose to replace with a "Gourmet Coffee" retailer??? In this small of a town, I predict that will close in less than 3 years,---perhaps 2. There are plenty places people an get much. Cheaper Coffee then this. This is NOT a large enough immunity to support that type of business. But offering evening & weekend banking is a more feasible for this clientele. BAD MOVE ON...

Pretty convenient in Carroll, CitiCentre has Bomgaars and Hy-Vee right next to each other which is really the most convenient but it's also got Scooters drive through right by the entry/exit, and the back way through Bomgaars is pretty cool to get downtown faster. Other business are in there but they've been off and on with opening and closing, at the moment there is a new Mexican restraunt (which sucks), and there used to be a GNC which was clutch, but they've also...

More run down mini mall. Kmart (at least for the near future) Payless shoes, GNC, Christian youth center, Chinese "get your nails done here", Check into Cash and a Dunkin' donuts that lasted less than a year. Couple more years and there will be more weeds in the parking...
